Foot Pedal Upgrade

Sprayed some silicone spray on mine and got them on. It's a tight fit, which is good.

Installed these from amazon for $25
I kind of like those. How did the install go? It says they are universal fit. Which to me means to me that they fit okay in all vehicles, but not great. And I've had issues with other universal fit pedals not feeling secure. Also, are they anodized black or just painted? I'm worried the black finish will quickly wear off, revealing the aluminum color underneath.

They came with ridiculous clamps that went right in the garbage.
I just laid the replacement pedals on top of the existing pedals and marked the mounting holes with a sharpie, I drilled the holes and used the provided hardware.
It threaded in nice and tight, I installed the nuts on the back with a dab of lock-tite for good measure.
Solid install 100% confidence.

PS I removed the rubber cover on the brake before the install.

UPDATE: Brake pedal rubber is already falling apart lol. Oh well, they still look good, but looked like it could be a weak spot especially if you wear boots or any shoes with significant tread.

Thanks for the update. I guess you can't expect too much for 20 bucks LOL.

Supposedly the mopar pedal kit is part of the 2022 TRX, maybe we'll finally get them.

What is the difference with the TRX and normal pedals?
I will get a 2022 Limited so I guess they still fit.

I bought these pedal covers on Amazon for $20, and installed them in 10 min after a little effort.

On a side note, that cord hanging down is from my AMP side steps. If I knew that it would hang down Iike that I would have gone with the Mopars. I know AMP a new sponsors on the forum, so FYI.

Looks like you have the connections right, but you skipped a step. You are supposed to unclip the factory OBDII port and move it up in to the dash and replace it with the one OBDII port that has nothing connected to it. When finished zip tie the harness up inside the dash somewhere.

Those look pretty sharp. The '21 TRX I sat in just had "normal" pedals, no sport pedals.
Huh, that’s weird. Mines a Level 2 - maybe the base model has normal pedals. 🤷‍♂️

but only for TRX? the other trims still have the '21 style of pedals that work with this Amazon covers?
