Foot Pedal Upgrade

I like that they say they have better wet grip. I may get a set whenever I know my truck is actually fixed. Can’t spend anything more on it until then

I have the same ones and the rubber has tore off of most of the brake pedal one
How long after installing?

I’m guessing driving style will have a big impact on longevity. A lot of stop and go driving obviously will wear them much quicker. 80% of my driving is on freeway so my brake pedal gets very little use compared to city drivers. If I get a year out of mine I’ll be happy for $20 especially considering how easy they’re to swap out.

Probably started tearing after a few months if I remember right

I think for $20 I may try them. I saw them a while back but the reviews were meh. I was just worried about them tearing in a week.

I’ve had some version of metal foot pedals installed on most every vehicle I’ve had in the past and would like to add them to my Limited. I haven’t been able to find any that fit the DT Rams, anyone have any idea when they might be available?

Has anyone tried these out

I just got some from SRP Racing Pedals and loving them so far. Great customer service and several options to choose from. Thought the gen 4 pedals would work, but they didn’t quite fit. Worked with Brain to dial in the measurements for the 5th gen Rams and they fit great!

This is off topic, but for the guys who have installed the pedals, can anyone confirm if there's a protective panel above the pedals that meets up with the panel that has the hood release? I just purchased my truck on Sat and promptly removed the aftermarket dealer installed tracking device and noticed there's no panel above the pedals. All the wiring is visible plain as day. In my other vehicles there's a panel running from the firewall that sits above the pedals to the front of the dash protecting the wiring harnesses under the steering wheel. I haven't been able to find a diagram showing this area to confirm if there's supposed to be one.

What other vehicles have you driven with this?

what?

Grand Cherokee, VW Touareg, BMWs, VWs all have them. It's my first truck so I thought it was missing. Sorry to hijack the thread.
Guess Ive never owned a vehicle that has had anything past the knee panel. Including Volvos, Chevy, Ford, and multiple different Dodges.

Looks good, and they have a lot of options also. Price isn't too bad. But my $20 ones are still good. Had them for 50,000+ miles and still good.

Super easy! Took about 30 mins. Use the new pedals as templates to mark the holes after I put some painters tape on the pedals. Drill pilot hole, finish with 3/16 bit. Gas pedal secures with 4 self tapping screws. Brake pedal secures with 3 nuts and bolts. holes were positioned on the brake pedal where you could drill the holes on flat metal. Bottom middle bolt make sure to align dead center so you can get a wrench on the nut, there is a little open channel on the bottom that you need to align to secure.
