That's kind of generic, How do you do it, what app, etc. with your iphone?
yeap. go to the video after you save it to your album, tap on edit, use the bottom left and right arrow to choose the segment you want to keep, tap save.
and you then you can choose to overwrite the original one or save as a new one.

lol I hear you. Was thinking the same thing this morning. Had to stop for some turkeys this morning. One of them was all fanned out like a thanksgiving promo picture
I saw a pair fanned out about a week ago. I've probably seen a hundred in the last couple years, one group of about 20. It's the first time I've seen them fanned.

I have the hardwire kit installed. I purchased some fuse taps on Amazon and spliced them onto the Fitcam X hardwire harness (the harness does not work with our trucks as it comes from them). You can see which fuses I used in the picture below.

some people are saying it works with our trucks.. some saying not. what is the deciding factor since it looks like you wired around the mirror compartment.

The kit I received had the wrong size fuses on the fuse taps. I just cut off the fuse taps that came on the harness and replaced them with another I ordered on Amazon.

Mine came with a couple different types.. mini microfuse, microfuse, and standard fuse size I believe. So it was just a matter of figuring out which fuse sizes ram decided to use and it was plug n’ play no splicing, crimping, or soldering required.

I’m trying to decide on my Fitcamx purchase. Those who have done the hardwire kit for parking mode have you had any battery issues? Thanks

Only thru the first 8 pages so far….thought I’d cut to the chase:

Model B on the Limited Level 1 Equipment, Digital Rear-View Mirror. Does anybody have a Blend Mount with a radar detector installed? Seems the Fixcam extends lower than stock housing?

I don’t have my truck yet, so be gentle with your answers please. 😏

I have the model b on a 2022 limited, but I don't know which level equip I have, the truck is fully loaded. I have a blend mount for a Valentine one that is so old it was on my 4runner then on the 2015 limited ecoD and now this. Seems to work. I used the blend mount tap also. The tightness I see isn't with the fitcamx but with the mirror. It seems I can't move the mirror all the way down, but it works for me. The new metal mount has more room to move.

Well, now that I'm past the one year warranty, the lithium battery in my cam is no longer keeping time/date memory, so the time stamps on my files and in the videos are WAY off. Their web page says they would replace the camera for this issue during the warranty period, but it also says "you can change the battery yourself." But it gives no instructions. Before I tear down the camera (my trim clips are a BEAST to get loose without the metal clips bending over), has anyone done this? Is it easy to get to the battery? It is just a typical CR2032, or something else?

I'd hate to have to use a video clip in court and be told it's not valid because the time stamp doesn't match the event.

You can turn off the date/time stamp. I've also found that every time you connect your phone to the camera it updates the date and time. So, while inconvenient, you could always connect to the camera each time you start a drive.
