Driver Side Creak- Inside- Video

Just picked up my truck. Dealer replaced everything per the TSB and so far no more creaking noise.
Thats good news! They replaced everything from the TSB and I still have the clunk and creak. The techs are pretty frustrated.

Hmmm not sure what the issue is then.

Well I think I may have spoke to soon. It was warm outside today and the creaking is back. At this point not sure what else to do.

We're sorry to hear this, marcd118. Please send us a private message if you would like to continue working with your dealer to find a solution to this. We are happy to have a case escalated on your behalf.

Hi All. I have a 2019 Limited crew with air suspension built around Oct 2018 with the creak. Only when the truck is cold at the start of the day. It happens with any body movement. I turn the wheel back and forth to get the body roll to produce the sound more blatantly.

I wanted to upload a video showing it but Forum rules won't accept a .mov or .mp4 ?
Can you guys tell me the TSB #?
thx,
Bernie

23-047-18. Doesn’t always correct the issue. Depending on the severity and the skill level of the servicing dealer. Good luck

yeah the dealer did the TSB and the CREAK continues....

I've had the body mount TSB performed and the creak is still there as well. Aaaaarrrgggghhh!!!

in the morning when its cold when i fist get in it and drive forward like 5 feet i can stop and just turn the steering wheel back and forth half a turn ( while stationary) and get the creak to happen.

I wish i knew how to post a 15 sec vid here so you guys could see ( hear!) a recording of it.

Mine is somewhere in the drivers seat lower frame work. The most aggravating part of it all is that it doesn't squeak when parked and you bounce around on the seat, it only squeaks when the trucks in motion going over bumpy terrain. Makes it a 2 man job to try and find exactly where its coming from.

Yup that sounds like the same thing I have. Please post if you do find a solution!

Interested in this as well. Mine does the same. Dealer just replaced the isolators yesterday and it’s still there.

I don't think the noise is the isolator itself, that's why its not fixing the issue. A ram technician on here said the issue was contact between the black mount plate and the floor pan. So either that's rubbing and making the squeak and transmitting the noise through the seat frame, or its the actual seat frame itself. It's hard to tell while driving, I need someone else to drive the truck while I lay on the rear floor board with a flash light and mechanics stethoscope to track it down.

I don’t think it’s the seat track. It won’t do it moving in the seat, only truck body movement. I tried moving and pushing all over the seat, both in it and out and no sound. If that helps.

Yeah I've done the same thing and can't get it to squeak either. While driving with my stethoscope the closest I can trace the sound to because of reach limitations is the front seat bolts. Originally I thought it was coming from under the dash somewhere but was able to rule that out, I just can't get any further under the seat while driving.

I can make the squeak while the truck is stationary and i am sitting still in the seat ONLY turning the steering wheel a bit to either way!

NOTE: This is not my vehicle but someone posted the squeak!

Hi everyone,
