Best speedometer recalibration tool

Thanks - I suppose it helps if I update my sig to include my particulars too in case that matters. White 2020 Ram Crew Cab 4x4, Lone Star Night Edition w/ 12” UConnect
It definitely helps, but you don't have a signature. 😁

Fixed! Copy/pasted yours and removed the mods - unfortunately I’m a couple years behind and just getting around to doing anything to mine (new shoes started all of it) and now I’m looking at a level or small lift, 35s, and basically anything else I’ve found on this site 😂

So I just called my dealer, and he swears that you can’t re-calibrate after 2017 year model. What statement, phrase, or document do I need to send him so that he understands? Or should I just avoid this dealership altogether so they don’t screw it up?
Tell them to go into dealerconnect, hit the service tab, then click single vin inquiry, put in your vin# and mileage on the truck, Then service contract offers.

He will see a list of all the tire sizes they will let you calibrate for.

I called my local dealer and they will do it for $135. Looks like buying the tools to do it is more than that. Probably the route I will go.

Just installed 35x12.5 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on factory 20s (NO SPACERS - NO RUB) and a 2” MotoFab front leveling kit. This is a 2020 Laramie with no park assist. Just ordered speedo calibrator from Rough Country (Speedometer Calibrator | Inline | Ram 1500 (18-22)/2500 (19-21) 2WD/4WD) thanks to this thread. Fingers crossed to me! Lol. I’ll keep you all posted.

Looks good. They have to be super close to the upper control arm with no spacer, I would check the inside of the tire from time to time.

Lol...yeah figured it would be pretty close but you may be ok. I loved those tires BTW, I got 45k out of mine, I just couldn't bring myself to pay the current price which is why I went with the Klever's.

I believe it only deactivates ParkSense if your tires are bigger than 35". I have 33" tires and my ParkSense still works.
Can anyone confirm the above? Called my dealer and they also said it would kill ParkSense (my new tires are 33.5"). I also want to confirm dealer update will adjust shift points and not just fix the speedo?

I have seen many people here go above 35 and the parksense does not work. I can confirm that by updating the tire size will correct the speedometer and the shift points. I had mine done a the local RAM dealer. I stayed under the 35 as my tires were 285/55/22 and my parksense works.

Fixing the speedo does effect shift points as it's correcting the speedo input for TCM.

And I have mine set to 34.7 through the TazerDT and no issues with park sense.
