Hi chrisfuss,

For clarification, is there anything we can assist you with?

Oh yea... there would be many issues... Lets start with the humming noise from the rear speakers, the squeaking wind noise, all the issues that we were promised to be solved with an ever delaying software update, like not tilting back mirrors, offline nav, crashing 12" system... the amount of time I have invested in bringing my truck to the dealer back and forth, star case opened, closed by FCA without notice, blaming me for not calling to follow up weekly... its insane, check the forum... there are a lot us with the exact same issues complaining about the delay and distraction tactics by FCA without anything ever being solved nor even addressed... And if RAM would really care, get some guts for once and release a statement about all the major issues that have been addressed here multiple times and what you are doing about getting them solved and when... Its fine we knew we'd buy a first gen truck and there would be issues in the beginning, but communication is key and a matter of fairness, ... so far for many of us this has been a one way street, chasing FCA and getting ever put off from dealer visit to visit from month to month with updates...
We own a fully loaded 2019 Ram 1500 and a full spec Rubicon, meaning we spend well beyond 100k with FCA, but the way we are treated with the RAM I am having a hard time to go with FCA one more time... but that might not be bothering you at all...

I'm having the exact same problem in my 2019 ram 1500 limited. High pitched noise coming from the rear speakers that can be eliminated with ambient lighting turned all the way up.

Having the same issue, just started today. Tried all the fixes listed but it is definitely the park sense tone. Taking it in on Wednesday to have it checked out along with a power mirror that doesn’t fold, and a repeat problem for the steering sticking in a slight left turn at highway speeds which the dealer says doesn’t exist. 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie with 16k miles.

I just started having this same problem today. Seams like parking sensor alert coming through the speakers and you cannot shut it off. In fact, It continues even after the truck is off for bit. I would obviously like to get it addressed and not get the typical dealer runaround. I wonder if it is a problem known well enough now, that they can get right to the issue.

Well I now have the exact same issue that Get N Dirty and several others had with my 2018 Ram 1500 Longhorn with only 37k. It did this back in the summer but a restart got rid of it. Today, it would not turn off no matter what I did. Continuous tone as if I was too close to something. Park sense turned off front and back and it stayed on. Came back home after driving my wife’s car instead. Tone is gone for now. Any advice? Ram Cares?

Active noise cancellation is malfunctioning. There are several solutions to correct the issue that avoid the dealership

Hi @Goodrnhell, we certainly understand why this would be concerning. If you are not able to determine a solution based on suggestions from fellow forum members and you decide to address this with your Ram dealer, please be sure to follow up with us via private message. We would be more than willing to escalate your situation to a specialist who can work alongside you and your dealer while your truck is in service.

Ok thanks. I assume I will need to wait and go through the same process of bringing my truck in while it is actively making this noise? Which may not occur for weeks or months. I guess I could video it? The dealership is about 30 minutes away. I just don’t want to wait until the truck is out of warranty. 2018 with 38k.

Intermittent problems are very difficult for the dealer to duplicate and may cause delay in diagnosis and repair. You may consider speaking to a service adviser about your concern prior to bringing your vehicle in for inspection. Please let us know once you have an appointment in the books so that we may offer additional support!
