Base 6 speaker upgrade options?

the door panel feels like it breaking the first time ya take it off. but it's one of the easiest door panels i have delt with. 3 10mm bolts pry tool bottom front or rear and just pull it snaps off.
are the inputs clipping? or the amp out. max volume on my 8.4 was about 32 then it starts clipping with everything flat so high level into that amp will clip at around the same point. try 31 flat then start coming up on the amp gain.
i may be telling you what you already know.........
I didn't know that. My last Ram had the alpine system. The infinity amps dsp has clipping indicator and each channel has a gain. Just finished installing the kenwood 6x9s, so all speakers done. Initial thoughts it sounds much better, so much misinformation, people say get the metra 6515, but is 6514 confirmed on wire diagram and by wire colors, the purple/violet stripes on the positive, so 6514 is correct. Wish I knew someone thats knows about eq dsp's etc. Will sound better once that's done. Front panel was harder than rear to get off.

depending on how you hooked up the wire to the 6x9 it is crossover with the coils unless you used the bypass connection and the crossovers for the 2 way i hooked them and just zip tied the slack then put them in the hole before i put the speaker in. also i used pac speaker plugs so i didn't have to cut off any connectors plus that keeps ya form having to figure out pos+neg
do you plan on puttin a sub in?
i know something about dsp's to get the most out of them good shops use a RTA but most people just adjust them to their liking.
did you watch any YT video's on it. jbl and infinity are essentially the same thing

I did use the 6514 speaker connectors and were correct. I double verified. Cool part about the infinity amp is it can be used as a stand alone dsp, when I do have a sub and another amp, I can use the rca sub outputs on the infinity and set everything up on the dsp, only need to run a wire to battery. Wish it had more power, but will see once settings are done. Has really good bass for just the 6x9s as is, highs need tweeking. I did not bypass the 6x9 crossover, pretty much had to use it since I am still using the 3.5 in parallel like stock, but I wanted that to get most out of the infinity, its only 25 watt at 4ohm, 35 at 2ohm. This was kind of a test I did amp wise, found it for $79 open box/refurbished on ebay, so thought why not. $450 total invested with speakers, connectors etc. Can always add amps later use as stand alone dsp. Will try a RTA on phone with mic and try to figure this out. As is sounds good, but could be even better. I did watch videos, the time alignment and setting everything else I can figure out, is just the eq that always was my issue getting it correct.
