Base 6 speaker upgrade options?

Working on this setup for a 2022 Quad Cab BH with the base audio system. Sourcing Front and Rear speakers and amps right now. I've got the Fox Box on order and I already have the Subs.

This is a very loaded question because it all depends on how deep your pockets are for audio but I would say a nice budget set up will be around $2000 with labor to put it in. That would be two 3.5 dash speaker two 6x9 in front doors and two 6.5 in back doors and two 12 in a box under the seat with a 6 channel amp Plus you will need a adapter to hook up to the stock radio if you are going to keep it.

of course the price has gone up i paid 365. i tried different woofers like 5 sets. i stopped short of going with jlw3's at 400 each although they would work/sound great. due to budget constraints i went with rockford P3's and i can't complain i got a set from crutchfield for around 400 i would recommend them, P2's will also work i tried a set but i need higher power handling. P3's fit but you have to remove the rubber magnet cover and i can't use the trim ring without a little modification of the enclosure top. i can put a pic up if you like

great choices on amps and subs very close to my set up lol instead of getting the dsp amp i went with the dsr1. but you don't want 3 way 6x9's in the front. i hope that box in the diagram is not the one you ordered that is the crewcab box.

Happy New Year. Yeah I just picked a box off of the Fox site for my diagram. I ordered the correct box that you have listed.
For the component speakers crutchfield says it doesn't fit the dash location in my 22 RAM BH, should i just ignore that?

yeah that's wrong they fit.

i know they are doing a 4th gen but the dash speaker compo is the important part the dash and door speakers are the same in the 4th and 5th gen's

Love this diagram, explains what is needed in a nice clean visual way. We just took possession of our 2024 1500 Tradesman Warlock with Quad Cab and Base audio (which is f'n horrible). This is going to help me plan a little bit on parts that I will need. The wife wants our first upgrade to the truck to be the Centre Stack swap as she really wants dual climate control. She is always cold and I am always warm.
