I have the same issue. Just bought it last Friday... in the dealership now...
If you look a few posts above you will see that the fix is to go to the dealership and have the system reset. Shouldn't take more than an hour based on how fast they did mine. Also just tried to activate auto high beams on my 2020 Rebel that I picked up over the weekend, same deal, headlight switch on auto and Uconnect setting on, but no confirmation message in my gauge cluster when flipping the stalk forward.
Appreciate anyone who could provide details on a fix.
Headed to the dealer on Friday. Planning to ask if there is a way to DIY reset this. I'll report back
I have the same issue... my 2020 Rebel 12 going back there Thursday evening so they drive it and confirm...♂
Yup, it says on my monrony Automatic high beam control...Didn't think Rebel's had auto highbeams, is that something new with the 2020 and the 12 package.
It says it has it in the build sheet. Don't recall if it's part of a specific add-on or the 12 packageDidn't think Rebel's had auto highbeams, is that something new with the 2020 and the 12 package.
I also picked up my 2020 Limited 5 days ago. No auto high beams. Heading into the dealer this week to see if they can also fix the problem. Maybe Ram will update their service managers on this issue. An awful lot of money and now I have to convince a service guy to fix the problem and take hours out of my day.
@RamCares, the issue is not really that anyone needs escalation help. So far from what I am hearing the dealers are getting the issue fixed if you show up. The issue is why are trucks leaving the factory like this? It is almost like the EOL station that initializes all of the modules is missing the headlamp module and the dealer is the one who is doing it. Either that or the dealer setup program is wrong and is not initializing this module. Dealer wouldn't know any better because their program probably just says that the program ran successfully, so they are not really to blame. Needs to be addressed with Ram engineering.I sincerely regret to hear your sentiments expressed here, Dfukes. If you would like an additional layer of support while working with your dealer for this, please know that I would be more than happy to escalate a case on your behalf to connect you with a Case Specialist. Kindly follow up with me via private message to get the process started.
