Never gets old driving in drag radials.
Actually, it does. That's why I traded my '20 Challenger 1320 (with factory drag radials) for my '22 Ram.

Well, the driving part didn't get that old, but buying a new set of rears every 3,000 miles for a daily driver did. And that's with very little romping on it...the first set lasted 1,200 miles while I was getting it out of my system.

I hear ya! :ROFLMAO: When I bought my first set of rears on my SRT challenger at 5000 miles, I thought my wife was going to make me sleep in the car for a week! Not that that would have been bad....

So, you're more accurate than the shipper that gets paid by weight, OK but do tell, whats that shippers weight list :ROFLMAO:

🤣 🤣 🤣

You think the shipping weight is the same as the curb weight?

No wonder you think you have a 700hp, 3100 lb Z06. You're definitely one of those dudes that takes whatever HP increases marketing tells you your mods will give you, adds it to whatever the factory told you was stock HP, and boom, now you have a 700hp Vette.

3100? I thought you had a 700hp vette? Absolutely no way you can get it sub 3200, likely not under 3500, assuming c7, cause c8 is even heavier

Here you go
Chevrolet Corvette C5 Z06 Specs. With a curb weight of 3117 lbs (1414 kgs), the Corvette C5 Z06 has a naturally-aspirated V 8 cylinder engine, Petrol motor, with the engine code LS6. This engine produces a maximum power of 411 PS (405 bhp - 302 kW) at 6000 rpm and a maximum torque of 542.0 Nm (399 lb. ft) at 6000 rpm.

Now, my car has coil overs so the heavy factory suspension is gone, as are the cast iron exhaust manifolds, car weighed 3050 that Texas Motorplex scales with a 1/2 tank of fuel

Show us that door sticker that says you have 1627 lbs of payload in an optioned up Limited. 🤣

Nosure what your problem is. Have a local friend pushing 1100+ RWHP in his C7 and manages to drive it just fine on the street on street tires no less.

Bull.
I'm the lowest power car of most the guys I hang with, damn near every one has 1300whp or more with one having 2200. Unless you make no power below 3000 rpm, the car is a handful on street tires especially on days with temps below 60°

That aint no lie. I can get 2-3k miles out of my rears, after that, they're just good for holding air.
Its fun as hell beating on it but driving in traffic or dallying it is entirely different and that's when not getting caught in the rain

What exactly is shipping weight?
Well lest see Bob, shipping weight is the weight of the vehicle driven onto the shippers scales and weighed for the purposes of determining the cost the shipper is going to charge the shippe.
Or do you think the vehicle was dropped off at the rail yard dry ergo dry weight?

Why, I just proved my vehicles weight straight from the shipper. I don't care whether you agree with it or not

Lol, no. Shipping weight is the weight a manufacturer gives for the base configuration of a particular vehicle. Your shipping weight is the same as a Bighorn 4x2 with nothing on it. My truck's shipping weight was listed at 5380 lbs. My truck doesn't weight 5380 lbs.

What's your payload? If it's more than 1400 lbs, I'd be shocked.

Let's suppose it is 1400 lbs, and I'm being very generous with the options you have listed. That means your actual weight is around 5500 lbs. Mine comes in at 5619, and a CAT scale verifies the accuracy of that number. So we're looking at what, maybe 120 lbs difference. Maybe. I'd be willing to bet it's closer to 70-80 lbs.

You proved that you have no idea what you're talking about.

I was giving you the benefit of the doubt earlier, but now I'll say there's zero chance you have a 3100 lb C5 Z06 that's putting down 700 hp.

If it only mattered to me what you believed :ROFLMAO:

Wow, I stand corrected

Sounds about like several of the guys I hang out with. One guy daily drove his 1200rwhp Charger Hellcat through the winter, we get snow here. Usually when he shows up to the track he doesn't even waste his time taking his kids car seats out of it. Seems either you don't know how to handle your car, or you are just spewing BS.

If you were that off about the weight of your truck, I can only imagine the creative math you used to get a "700 hp" Z06 under 3100 lbs.
