Limited slip is only better with a cai, catch can, and led exhaust.....wait, i lost track of my silly cr#$
Damn, forgot about the LED exhaust. Hope to never run into one of those on the street.

10-11 sec 1/4 mile isn't impressive anymore when there are several cars that do that right off the showroom floor. Before I put a hole in the piston, my 2000 Dakota was good for high 11's on a day with good DA. And I was one of the slower guys in my local car group I hang out with. And I'm 45 yo, got into speed in my younger days, and still crave it. Granted I don't mess around in the street like I used to. Keep it to the track mostly.
No doubt but 1999 was a long time ago... and so were late night top speed tests on the interstate with radar guns, police scanners and CB's.

Been there done that. But was with base security in California when they wanted to see how fast my truck was. Faster than their security vehicles. I only had a few bolt ons at the time and deleted speed limiter. Hit 128mph on their radar after 5 mile run. Was aero limited at that point

Never gets old driving in drag radials.

When you have to feather or pedal the car at every stop light or stop sign, it gets tiring.
I'm on R888R's which are a bit better than the NT05R's were but nothing holding this power in a 3100 lb car short of a full Hoosier slick

Im not gonna lie, I'm not opposed to a few deserted Mexican highway runs but only when "conditions" are right but yeah, those days are few and far between because adulting and the speeds the guys I run with can hit. Far too fast for that stuff now.

1999, yeah, that was a different time, Fast and Furious f'd that up and street take overs (BS donut races) are f'ing it up now

3100? I thought you had a 700hp vette? Absolutely no way you can get it sub 3200, likely not under 3500, assuming c7, cause c8 is even heavier

Even stripped, no pass seat, no power windows or locks, ceramic breaks, carbon fiber wheels still 32+, even the c6 with the 505hp was 32+

That is some fun stuff there, Chuck was always creepy though!?
Yeah, even my kids were a little disconcerted in that place. I guess those characters are the kind of ideas you get when your 3.21 mind is economically wandering...

Nosure what your problem is. Have a local friend pushing 1100+ RWHP in his C7 and manages to drive it just fine on the street on street tires no less.
