AlfaOBD

Hey guys.
Recently I did 360view(surround view) in my 21 Ram1500.
Thanks to @Jimmy07 got everything going. So far great.
My question is can I enable in AlfaOBD:
Camera when front/rear parking sensors kick in(to see how far I'm from obstacle instead manually turning on)?
Can I enable Hold and Go option for brakes(like brakes hold on stop lights).
Those options I've seen in my father 2020 Nissan Rouge.
If not does Tazer DT can do it?
If TazerDT could do, do I need SGW bypass the one they selling(I have Kaodtech and using with AlfaOBD) and does Tazer has to be pluged in all the time or just to program?
Thanks
No, you can't enable those in AlfaODB. TazerDT doesn't need a bypass cable as it is built in. I don't know about those functions though.

TazerDT will do both those things, and yes you would need to leave it plugged in for them to work. The TazerDT acts as a SGW bypass when plugged in.

I've looked around a bit, and I am still unsure of the answers, so here goes... I bought the alfaOBD mx+ and I have ordered the security bypass cable.

While I was waiting though I dowoaded another code reader and my 2019 Ram Big Horn is throwing these codes. (screenshot attached) i have ordered the ordered the vapor cannister purge valve to try that to fix the small leak warning.

My question is will the AlfaObd MX+ and security cable (and actual alfaOBD software) be able to clear the ECU not initialized warning and cure this fault, or is that still a dealer thing?

Many thanks!

The evap leak could be many things other than vapor canister or purge valve. You may have wasted money on that. Most of the time it is the gas cap, or a cracked vacuum line

You read the ECU You find a code P1DF3 that means that the vehicle's transmission control module has detected a fault. This means that it has taken longer to initialize the transmission than was expected. This could mean that You will need a new transmission control module, or it could simply mean that there was a bug while it started up.

Anyone use the alfaOBD app on a tablet instead of a smartphone? If I download the app to my smartphone would I be able to sign into the app on another device like a tablet if I decide to use that instead or would I need to purchase another app on that device too?

As long as you used the same Google account when downloading in the tablet.

Thank you! I have the capless filler, so not sure the cap applies in the same way?, but I also understand I may have wasted $$ on the purge valve. Appreciate the responses, hopefully just a buggy start from when the battery died, I guess I will clear and see if it comes back.

Well, I had some time at work tonight so I went out to the truck to set up and pair the alfa app with the obdlink mx+. Took longer to find the two connectors for the security gateway than it did to set up the app lol. I rifled through the app to check it out and I found the fog light dropout and disabled that which was super easy. Took about 5 minutes and now I got my fog lights staying on with the high beams. My main goal is to activate the right side auto dim mirror which my truck currentlydoesnt have but I'll tackle that when I get more time. Now I need ideas on what else I can activate on the truck lol.

Did you buy an auto-dim passenger side mirror for the truck?

I did not yet. I need to get into the door to see if everything else is there that's needed. I believe there's supposed to be a module or harness that's needed

Do you by chance leave the engine running when you fill the gas tank? That's a common occurrence that people don't realize a code will eventually set

Tailgate open display in the EVIC.

Hi guys!
Tell me, I'm new to AlfaOBD.
My truck does not have Turkish in the list. There is English, Spanish and Italian. I saw what about 10 languages do, including Turkish.
Suspecting that they do it with the help of AlfaOBD.
My Limited 2020 model year, 12" screen
How to fix it?
I write with the help of a dictionary, not all turns of speech can be correct.
Thanks please!

Tailgate open display in the EVIC.

I tried to activate it tonight but for some reason I could not. I got to it and it asked "yes" or "no". I clicked yes and it said the settings was already "yes" so I tried again but this time I hit "no". It processed and it showed status as "no". I started the truck and opened the tailgate just to see but there was display for it on the dash. I shut the truck off and went back into the app. This time I clicked "yes". It processed again and and it indicated the status "yes". I again started the truck and opened the tailgate and again no indication on the dash. I don't know lol

With the tailgate open, start your truck and shift into drive or reverse and the indication should show up in your EVIC.

Hello folks,

I finally got my alpha obd2 app, the bypass cable to work, but I can not seem to get the global windows down feature to work using the key fob on my 2019 ram 3500 model. I was able to get the high beams on while not disabling the fog lights.
Am I missing something? Some kind of trick? Or does anyone has a link to a video or someone who has gotten to work ?
Thanks

You will need a Tazer for global up/down.
