FYI I enabled the off road and performance pages, on my 12 EVIC all gauges work including g-force, and off road turning angle pitch, etc.

2023 1500 Limited, took delivery early May, no idea what sw, how do i check?

Would also help to know what model year and trim level his truck is.
Yep. And if it's UC5 then it only works on the drivers dash, not on the head unit (after 24 hours or less it gets removed as an app in the Android interface resulting in a bad shortcut if you save it)

Ah ok.

It used to show up for a few minutes\hours on the 12 inch.
It had it's own page and gave much more information then on the dashboard screen like current torque\hp ratings and other stuff.
On the instrument I see

The 22s don't have the performance summary page except on the radio (on GT models) besides that looks like it matches.

Update!.....
I was able to get my alarm working besides the other steps i had to enable VTA in LIN and misc. : )
Hi @frisby5,

I have a Bighorn as well. When I programmed with AlfaOBD it told me the setting ‘Vehicle Theft Alarm (VTA) Hood Ajar Monitoring’ was already set to yes. My original config file and backup shows this setting is ‘no’. See attached.

I tested the alarm by arming it, got back in with the window opened, handed my daughter the key and asked her to walk away, and after one minute I pulled the hood release. The alarm did not sound. I then opened the door handle and the alarm sounded. So it seems the hood is not being monitored. I do get the hood ajar indication, and everything else about the VTA seems to work as expected (like the red flashing dash LED). Did you have a similar experience with the hood monitoring?

I might just run the procedure anyway even if AlfaOBD says the setting is yes.

I was able to get the hood ajar monitoring setting updated. I haven’t tested it yet to see if the alarm trips if the hood is opened (when activated).

Do you know if your alarm goes off if the hood is opened?

Not sure havnt tested yet but it shows up on my dash as being open when i have it open so its monitoring it.

Thank you.

I also get the hood ajar indication on my center dash cluster.

I'm actually not sure if opening the hood with alarm activated/armed will trip it. I can't find anyone or any other resource that mentions this feature. Although you'd think it would given the setting is specific to VTA.
