i'm on 40.1 now with no luck either. when I went to 39 it killed the pages and doesn't seem to want to come back. let me know if anyone has any luck on 40.1Hey @Jimmy07 . . . I'm running 39.7 (12" screen upgrade) and the performance pages/offroad pages (I enabled) worked for about 2 weeks then disappeared. I'm still on 39.7 and reset them to 'NO' . . . waited a few days then 'YES' and they still do not show up. Any ideas? 2020 1500 4WD
They definitely don't work on 40.1. 39.7 was last version they would show on, unless it was a factory option. And most trucks even if you were able to get them displayed, half the functions didn't worki'm on 40.1 now with no luck either. when I went to 39 it killed the pages and doesn't seem to want to come back. let me know if anyone has any luck on 40.1
I've never had a reset with any flash or recall. The only time I had a reset was when the dealer was troubleshooting an EVIC light problem and they reset the ECU to my VIN number, it went back to the original settings.No. There's no reason to revert. And yes, if they do any restore and upgrade to the systems, they get reset. It's good to have a backup and then you can just restore it.

On mine, only half the guages worked, and the ones that did work I could already access from the EVIC disolay. None of the angle displays worked on off road pages, none of the performance timers worked on performance pages.I just checked my off road and performance pages again today. They are still there with 39.7. I never tried the performance pages after I activated them, so I took a look today. Most of the dashboard, gauges, and dyno/engine features work. The drive modes, timers, g-force, and vehicle dynamics don't work. All of the off-road pages work.
Radio version has absolutely nothing to do with the OBDlink connecting to vehicleI just loaded 40.1 on my 12.1" screen and now the OBDLink app can still connect to the OBDLink MX, but the OBDLink MX cannot connect to the vehicle. The OBDLink MX will pair in Bluetooth but will not connect. Never had this problem before. Does my MX not work with 40.1? Does it require the MX+ model? I have an MX+ coming. Any ideas?
I wouldn't think the Radio version would have any effect on the OBD device.
Thanks for confirming. I can rule that out as a potential problem.Radio version has absolutely nothing to do with the OBDlink connecting to vehicle
This is why I went with the wired OBDLink and Alfa on my computer. Thanks for confirming. I can rule that out as a potential problem.
Been email dialoguing with OBDLink for over a day. Been answering their myriad of questions and trying their suggestions but nothing is working.
The OBDLink tech says, "It is the responsibility of the app/software you use to initiate a connection with the OBDLink scan tool. The OBDLink App can connect but Alpfa cannot, Alfa tells me it's unable to connect to Bluetooth and tries to turn Bluetooth on, but can't.
I also have Alpha on my computer. Will try with the computer, it may make a difference. What is a wired OBDLink? This is why I went with the wired OBDLink and Alfa on my computer.
I use this thing:I also have Alpha on my computer. Will try with the computer, it may make a difference. What is a wired OBDLink?
Thanks
Have you paired the reader in your bluetooth settings on your computer? Thanks
Interesting. I wonder if it performs better when using a PC than their MX style. I have asked the OBDLink tech that question.
I'm not sure, but I haven't had a single connection issue and it has always been fast. Thanks

This is a correct statement by their support folks. Thanks for confirming. I can rule that out as a potential problem.
