I don't think I used the illumination wire, but the ACC I just tapped into the red power wire going into the radio using a T-Tap.

Does anybody know what carrier these radios work with? I tried the imei's on Verizon's website and they both showed not compatible. The same goes with T Mobile.
Verizon does work, but it’s not a direct plug and play. The SIM card has to be activated in a tablet or phone , then add the correct apn settings for verzion. Mine works with no problems.

Anyone know if there's a newer firmware that will work with these headunits? Mine is on Android 10.

I actually inquired to them just yesterday about this, as I’m still super hesitant. Their response was they are working on a new model to support android 12 but do not have an ETA and I would need to wait “a relatively long time.” They do not intend to update the current platform. At least according to the email I got.

No, not with their launcher. But you can use any Android launcher you want. There are a couple car ones and one that I use is Car Launcher Pro. It is highly customizable. I am not too concerned with it because Waze is mostly always on full screen.
Any chance you’d be willing to post a few photos with Car Launcher Pro displayed as your Home Screen? Sorry I’m new to android in the sense of launchers, being able to customize, etc. and trying to learn/navigate the whole deal. I have had a basic iPhone forever.

Got my 3rd replacement.

Too bad the random flickering of backup camera still there.
Maybe a cable ground loop. Still waiting for my ordered fakra plug/cable to try to make a ground loop lift switch or maybe simply cut the ground.

Well, some improvement.
Pulsating speedometer widget is gone. No more annoying backlight LED leaking at the edge of buttons.

Anyone have issues with the surround equalizer constantly getting turned off? Seems I have to turn it on and set to default almost every time I get in the car.

No issue here but I found better without it.
There's another surround sound ON and Off under Car Settings > Amplifier. Check if that fix the issue. Or else contact the Phoenix for Firmware fixes.

Those of you who haven't, try the simplecan update file from Phoenix. My backup camera is better now; still not as clear as the factory was though, but I can see at night.

Where can we download? Do you have a link?

I don't know if this from the known issue of amp but I just heard a random static noise from rear left door speaker after the canbus update.
I will try to downgrade the canbus later this afternoon. As of now I installed the ANC bypass and no noise yet.

Yeah, I'm not sure on that. I'm still running the ANC.

Could be the known issue of ANC. I bypass it and the static noise is gone.
Oh I remember what you’re talking about now. I had that for a day or two after I just installed the radio and then it went away.

I don't know if am late for this but the Android Auto is in Full-screen now.

I am not using the Carlink for almost 2 months due to it will only display a center half screen.

Could be this happened after the Phoenix System Update or the result of Android Auto Update.

UPDATE:
To those who cannot make the Android Auto Full-screen, try enable the phone Android Auto Developers Mode.Screenshot_20230505_083204_Chrome.jpgScreenshot_20230505_083030_Android Auto.jpg

Has anyone been able to get a Verizon SIM card to work? I show signal, but can’t get a network connection.
