5th Gen Stock Stereo Upgrade Options?

Yes it matters, just follow the LOC instructions, you already have all the color codes and their respective polarity in hand (unless you're color blind, even if you were you can then use the pin numbers).
It's not that difficult. Just take your time to do it right.
I ask because when I read this entire thread, their were several people mentioning that the polarity of the diagram that's posted on page 2 isn't entirely accurate, but what you just posted matches what the diagram shows.
So I'm having problems trusting the wiring diagram and so far its the only diagram I can find for the base 6 speaker with no amp/anc.

I understand your concern, and indeed you're right in regards of all the confusion in this forum about factory wiring and polarity.
I'm glad to hear that what I posted matches your diagram / existing wiring, and I hope I didn't offend you with my straight forward answer.

Some members in here are "somehow" finding that their truck stereo wiring is routed / color coded with the wrong polarity. I have a very hard time to believe that Fiat - Chrysler will make errors when assembling their electrical wiring. And if there was a mistake: it will never pass quality control, long before that defective set of wiring will ever reach anywhere near the assembly line.

For those that have added aftermarket amps, what are you doing to connect the power to the battery? I was looking at the KnuKoncepts ultimate battery terminal but not sure if that would be overkill since I am using 8AWG OFC. Would I be better off just getting a quality terminal lug? I dont want to cut the factory setup if at all possible.

That’s what i did. There was a enough room on the battery clamp to fit it.

I ran the knukonceptz 4 gauge without butchering the factory setup...

Is anyone fighting insane treble problems? I have the speakers in my signature, all was fine with the front kicker dash speakers, i added the infinities to the doors (even disconnected the front door tweeter), and im running maximum -9 treble. Seems like i could go to -20 and it would still be too much. Im not sure what else to do, it will get loud as hell but the treble wears me out, its so harsh sounding. Other than disabling the super tweeter on the rear 3 way infinities im not sure what else to do.

The only way i can listen to music loud is via bluetooth where I can ramp down the treble in my phones EQ, then it sounds great. Android auto or XM is the problem and thats all I use.

Where is everyone with aftermarket mono blocks or a AmpPro mounting the remote bass knob? I saw another member put it in the cigarette outlet on the dash. Looking for ideas.

I ran JL Audio power cable, like this:

My intention is to have mine mounted right there next to my horn button.

I have no idea what my color wires are yet, I managed to pull back the trim on the b-pillar and seen it will be real easy to tap into the rear speaker wires, I did see a green/gray colored wire but didn't have the diagram handy to double check.
I'm used to the older vehicles were the wires run direct to the speakers, my 2020 has a pinned connector that connects to the rubber boot that leads to the door.
I may just use your chart since it matches the diagram on page 2 and if I notice any issues I'll just swap wires around.

Where did you find the color code chart from?

If your radio is "non amplified" the easiest location to tap into the rear speakers wires would be behind the radio (Black 52 pin plug, pins 48-52 and 45-49)
If your radio "has an amplifier" the easiest way would be to tap into the amplifier gray 22 pin plug (pins 4-15 and 5-16, for the rear doors speakers)

But, I guess you're trying to tap as close as possible of your rear speakers (to avoid running wires under the floor carpet), where eventually your subwoofer will be. In this case: you' re going to have to be lot more careful on what you're tapping into, for sure.

That's a nice location, unfortunately mine has the trailer brake controller in there. So, until I find a good spot without drilling a hole in the center console: this is were I wedged mine.

A guy did put his right there in the console and I think it’s tucked away good and blends in as factory.

I thought about that same location several times, it makes the most sense.
Do you happen to know who this guy is ? It would be nice to get some feedback / tips in how to carefully disassemble the left side of the center console.

E.hands is the one with that setup.
