Looks nice and clean. I’d be a little leery of drilling blindly into that spot with my 12” display. (And as an electrician, blind drilling is a no go.) But if I can see behind the info center like your last picture shows, I might feel more comfortable doing it. Plus it looks like with the right spacing, a few switches could be drilled there. Well done sir!

I checked out some videos of people taking the dash and radio apart where I could get a good look behind it all and came to the conclusion that I was just gonna send it. Since that spot is meant to hold a module, I figured worst case I have about 1.5 inches of depth before I hit something I’d regret

Good point about the spot having a module there. Something I will def look into.

Okay so I made a small mistake I think. The brackets may have been a touch too wide to the point where the bar would pitch up a bit after driving over rough roads and speed bumps, I tired torquing the light bar bolt and ended up stripping one side I think. The other side is good and tight now but the bar still moves with some decent pressure. To help with this I made a support thing with an L bracket through the bumper support to stop the bar from pitching up. It should stay where I have it aimed now.

Dam that sucks. Can you remove the bolt and re-tap the hole ?

I'll try that if my contraption doesn't hold up. I have until late spring to make sure its 100% since that's when I am going out west and would really need this setup

For those that aren’t using some sort of controller, where did you decide on mounting the switch? I just decided to go through the blank trailer brake controller. Didn’t need to take the radio out, just drill the hole, stick a fish tape through and reach up in and grab it to pull back through View attachment 175577 View attachment 175578
