I figured you traded in your truck and gained a trailerNothing that you need to worry about.
The mpg advantage will always be there for 3.21. Just like off the line acceleration will always be there for 3.92.Or...hear me out...it was a mix.
You're trying so hard to cling to that fuel economy "advantage" you never had in the first place.
I went from 3.92 to 3.21, haul and tow a good amount and have not noticed a big difference in acceleration, but definitely better mileage.I went from 3.21 to 3.92 and if not for the trailer it will pull, I’d have stayed with 3.21. This truck is horrible on fuel, no matter what I do I can’t get beyond 12 mpg. Lots of get up and go if I need it, but that’s not very often. If I tromped on the 3.21s it felt a little sluggish, 3.92s are much better that way (in a heavier truck - from the cash I have to carry for fuel ).
Last wordI went from 3.92 to 3.21, haul and tow a good amount and have not noticed a big difference in acceleration, but definitely better mileage.
I’ve had 2 5th gens. Both non etourque v8’s. The first had 3.21’s, the second 3.92’s. I prefer the 3.92, but understand if you want the mpg advantage. Then again, if you want better mileage, then perhaps NOT a truck is what you need. Word

Nice, but not a ram 1500. No thanks
Not for the "best mpg it can get."Or the hemi with 3.21s.

On your wish list is a level kit, sounds like you don’t actually use your truck.I’ve had 2 5th gens. Both non etourque v8’s. The first had 3.21’s, the second 3.92’s.
