Interesting. There’s not just a simple fix for that then I am assuming? Manufacturer can’t just send new lights and harnesses?Mopar is buying back my Rebel because of the missing animated lights (LEDs). I will special order either another Rebel optioned exactly the way I wanted it or order a limited.
I'm going to try going through all the wiring that Jimmy sent over today. We are trying to figure out if it's possible.Any update on getting 12V to that connector?
Awesome, thanks for putting in the work.I'm going to try going through all the wiring that Jimmy sent over today. We are trying to figure out if it's possible.
they said the entire front of the truck needs to be changed... I'm not sure that's true... I would have thought install lights and be done....Interesting. There’s not just a simple fix for that then I am assuming? Manufacturer can’t just send new lights and harnesses?
Yeah, it’s hard to tell with pics, but they “appear” to be the same size and shape.Maybe on the 2024's and older since the limited had smaller headlights but I believe the 2025 Limited's have the same headlight size and shape as the lower model 2025's.
Has Ram indicated that they are fixing the issue? All the Rebel 2 packages seem to lack the animated lights. Which would lead one to believe that ordering another one would result in the same issue. I have a Rebel X on order and am curious if it will come with it or not.Mopar is buying back my Rebel because of the missing animated lights (LEDs). A rebel can’t be equipped with LED tail lights or bi function projector LED headlights, therefore there can’t be a rebel with the animated front or rear lighting feature.Has Ram indicated that they are fixing the issue? knowing they won't use these lights, I am sticking with Rebel, optioned as I like, no expectation of animated lights.Has Ram indicated that they are fixing the issue? So what did you have to do to get this. Mine didn’t come with the animated lights either even though window sticker says it has it.Mopar is buying back my Rebel because of the missing animated lights (LEDs). I leaned on the dealer very hard. they contacted Mopar who offered cash back or to unwind the deal. I planned to custom order a Rebel (knowing the animated lights are not an option) and ended up taking another truck off the lot, I didn't want to wait 3 or 4 months. So what did you have to do to get this. You have to have LED Tail Lights and headlights with the daytime running light signatures. No Laramies or Rebels have them.So what did you have to do to get this. Mine didn’t come with the animated lights either even though window sticker says it has it.
I'd definitely take it in. Hyper flash is annoying to everyone, and is actually illegal if they flash faster than twice per second. Not that it's strictly enforced though LOL.I have a 25 Ram 1500 Laramie night edition lvl 2. I don’t know if it is entirely related but I think because my truck doesn’t have LED taillights or headlights but HAS LED mirror lights, I have hyper flash when I use my turn signals. I want to bring it up to the dealership but I also don’t want to seem OCD that my turn signals are flashing too fast.
Just the taillights and the third brake light but that is the same as before. That said it was a real disappointment to buy a $70,000 truck with Halogen taillights. I tried to replace them with the limited LED taillights but they are not plug and play and did not work. Has anyone had any luck with a retrofit yet?Looking at 25 Rebels now as my 22’s lease is nearly up. So aside from the headlights are all exterior lights back to incandescent bulbs inc fogs?
This is a major bummer, exterior lighting is such an important part of the overall look of vehicles these days and going back to 2005 lighting is well, an odd decision by Ram. I mean there are very few new vehicles on the road these days that aren’t led all around with cool looking tails and accent lighting. Got to be honest, it might be enough to get me looking at GM’s. It would **** me off if 2026’s go back to led’s
