2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

Does anyone have any input on the seat heaters/steering wheel heaters turning on automatically? In the settings app I can choose from Never, Remote Starts, and All Starts. It seems to be VERY hit and miss when the truck decides that I should have the steering wheel and seat heaters turn on. On my Ford, it would just remember what was turned on the last time the truck was turned off. It's getting annoying having to turn the seat and steering wheel heaters on most times I start the truck.
Is this normal or is the truck misbehaving?
Side note, I'm still not able to connect an HDMI cable and have the truck recognize it.

I suspect, your ambient temperature isn’t low enough (or the sun is directly on your truck) for the system to turn on. The Manual control schema is generally what the Auto climate control follows.
Regarding the HDMI, does the side screen (swiping side to side) have an HDMI card that indicates something is plugged in? Have you selected it? I don’t have the side screen so, I can’t test for myself.IMG_0389.jpegIMG_0390.jpeg

Thanks, that's disappointing, need the power for sure. Wonder if there is an outlet in the Ram Boxes and if so, a line can be run to the bed somehow.
My understanding from looking on the lot and YouTube is that there is an outlet in the box on the rear drivers side if you add the Bed Utility Group package and if you have ramboxes it is inside the box. These are 400w outlets unless you add the optional 2kwh on board power which is still not available to order at this point (I have an order in progress and tried to add it)

The screen says "Insert HDMI cable" regardless of if there is a cable inserted or not. Leading me to believe that the plug itself is faulty. The USB and power plugs work though.

ok in comfort settings touch screen. You can have wheel and seat come on heated or cooled on automatic remote starts or all starts.

Had anyone found the part number for the Mopar all weather mats for a 2025? I've seen the link posted for the set on mopar that say they fit the 2025 but it shows the rearseat mats as 2 'interlocking pieces' which seems different so want to conform that is change for 2025? I also have the brown interior but haven't seen brown mats even though I know they exist as I've seen them in a truck on the lot.

I bought this a while ago, and picked them up at my local dealer. He confirmed they will fit the 2025. Of course, I don't have my truck, so I can't verify personally. But here ya go:

All-Weather Floor Mats, Crew Cab - Mopar (82216607AA)

Thanks - these are the part I had seen that uses a 2 piece rear and are only available in black. I didn't see the mats in the 2025 I test drove laid out as they were still in a package in the rear but they were brown.

There is an outlet (400W) in the driver’s side RamBox. I do have the bed utility package, soi I’m not sure which package added it.

My 2019 and my 2025 have a 2 piece rear all weather mat. One overlaps the other to make it nearly seamless.

Yes. I turned it on, but it doesn’t turn on that frequently. There was a previous post that showed the temperature settings that triggers turning it off or on which makes sense and probably jives with what I’m experiencing in real life, but it would be nice if it would just remember if I had it on when I turned the truck off last.

on the 2019 (at least) you could tell it to do automagic climate control or last setting.

There’s some responses to this that are referring to two separate functions- the auto comfort setting in the radio (never, remote start, all starts), and auto climate controls.

The auto comfort setting strictly deals with the heated steering wheel, and the driver heated/ventilated seat, nothing else. When that setting is set to remote start or all starts, the heated wheel and seat will come on if the truck is reporting an ambient temp of 40° or below when it’s started, and the ventilated seat will come on if the truck is reporting an ambient temp of 80° or above when the truck is started.

The auto climate control (hvac) will always do whatever it thinks is best based on values it receives from the coolant temp, ambient temp, cabin temp, sun load, and humidity sensors, regardless of the auto comfort setting.
