2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

To be clear I’m not looking for any mythical HP gains. Some extra noise when I want to put my foot in it and maybe a little fuel economy on the highway if she breathes better?

Apple CarPlay stopped functioning once today. It usually happens at least once or twice a week. Quick fix if this happens; hold the power and select buttons (two main buttons in the scroll wheels) for around 10 seconds u til the head unit restarts. It should work after that. You can do this while you’re driving too.

Well I pulled the trigger on the CAI. Found a great cyber Monday deal and I’m dying to modify something. I don’t leave my trucks stock and there’s little available yet for the ‘25. Should be a fun little project. I’ll post pics when it’s installed.

I’ll check it out. I’m probably going to go with the JB4 as well. I love it in my BMW

For the current 2025 owners that are having issues of any sort with your truck, how many of you (if any) bought from Mark Dodge? When I was going through the document signing today I asked the finance guy about the QC process that they go through. He said that they do a very extensive check that keeps people from having avoidable issues. Tightening stuff, updating software, etc. I wonder how true it is that they actually minimize issues.

My 2025 MD truck was in perfect shape when I picked it up. So far, there’s been no real issues. I asked them to double-check everything since I was going to drive it to CA and go a little off-road along the way. MD was awesome.

Is the shifting better after this last update or am I imagining it? The truck always had power when you needed it, but sometimes it felt sluggish when accelerating slowly in some circumstances. Now, it always feels snappy and fun to drive.

I purchased a 2025 1500 big horn level 1 equipment group 3 weeks ago. Overall I like the pickup. So far just under 700 miles.

Issues:
1. Low windshield washer fluid warning comes on sometimes. It's full
2. Two times now, when in park, the exhaust note pulses. However, the RPMs don't pulse. After driving again for a short time, it goes away when in park again.
3. Kinda has a rough ride compared to rams I've had in the past.
4. Over slightly aggressive bumps, there is a clunk from the rear. Not sure if it's the spare tire or the tailgate. There is a little vertical play on the tailgate.

I have not brought it in to the dealership for anything yet.

Has anyone had an issue with the sliding center console tray being hard to slide? I noticed mine is hard to slide might be because it was only 13 degrees out this morning but I never had that issue on my 2019. Can the tracks be lubricated?

Same here, no issues with my MD truck. Drove from GA to pick it up.

Yes, Mark Dodge. I was too lazy to type it out.
Is that a local dealership and therefore is only an added bit of confusion with zero relevance for the rest of us, or, is it some well-known modder like Roush that I never heard of?
