Welp back to another engine code.

P018B-00 is showing as fuel pressure sensor 2.

I was getting on the on ramp about to merge into the highway, I gave it a little gas and it felt like a hiccup. Right after that the CEL appeared and the truck accelerated like nothing.

I think that code was involved in the flash from October 8th
Customers must experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination and the vehicle musi exhibit/set one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs):

• P018B - Fuel Pressure Sensor "B" Circuit Range/performance.

Well my truck got flashed with the earlier one from September. Aren’t they the same flash just different range of date of manufactured trucks?

Nice scan tool geez are you mechanic that ones about 5000 right. I looked at your pic saw the old dash ram is messed up just like russian tanks old dash also. So i found 74000 Laramie with old dash 12 inch screen and little screen for passenger. Rebel is the sweet spot you don't like rim and tires you change them 73000 widow sticker there's massive rebates but i have tech group leather group heated cool ed seats my dash looks like the limited and tungsten. bighorn Laramie same just can't get leather in bighorn . i thought all ram at least got new digital dash i knew big screen and passenger screen would be an option

Did the light turn off?
Randomly driving around this morning to the parents house and the light went out. I'm about half a tank right now, going to fill up with 93 and see if it was bad gas or something. Very odd! I will document this and find out how to file a complaint with Ram/Stellantis.

Where you using 89?

Yeah it's a pretty pricey tool man and no I bought it to work on cars on weekends. I use to do a lot of mechanic work a while back just for fun/$$$, but I got tired of it and stopped working on peoples stuff. Too many complaints about just random stuff so I just work and family's stuff when I get a chance. I'm actually thinking of selling it as it just sits in my closet 98% of the time.

I would love to get a Rebel X so I can get the console shifter, but I can't see myself paying that type of money for a truck. I work from home so the only miles I put on it are weekends and going to see my daughter that lives 4 hours away at least once a month.

I've been using 87 and sometimes 89. This last tank I filled up with 87 from Costco.
87 can sometimes cause spark knock especially in high compression engines, this is a very high compression engine. I know it says in the manual, on the ram website, 87 is fine. I don’t fault anyone for using it because that’s what it says to use, but I think this engine really wants and needs at least 91 to be a happy camper

Yeah I'm thinking the same. If I'll have to run 93, I might stop modding this truck and just pay off more to trade into that RHO coming out lol. Might as well and get that extra power haha.

It only really comes down to 20 dollars more a tank if that
