Please tag me and let me know I have the cold start burp as well. I don’t have any codes thankfully only have under 300 miles. I wonder if they can preform the update without any lights

My dealer did the update on my truck last week and they still have it. Not sure if it didn't fix the problem or what, but I called this morning and all they could say was they are waiting for updates from the tech.

Out of curiosity do you use 87 or premium fuel not sure if that makes a difference

i had to wait for light cel 1350 it happened at i knew it was gonna happen had to move it that day a few time for other contractors and i knew it was gonna come on

does your truck shift ok or surge like it dosent know if it want to go or not that's what mine was doing and my first dealer fill i went with them put 93 in drove good tried 87 89 would get light on dash say check owners manual for correct fuel and oil if i was gonna pass someone and 93 is much different in sport mode on wot also you could hear the ping 87 during passing gear with 87

Yea a little bit, I emailed the dealer to fill with premium before I picked up, but they already filled with regular. I’m at a half tank now, was wondering what to use at fill up. The main thing I notice is the high rpm start up and stumble, which I see on here is not uncommon, I didn’t know if the regular fuel attributed to that

Well, a new one happened today. My truck has been running great since they said they did an update awhile back. I've put about 6,000 trouble free miles on since that time.

I took it in for an oil change this morning at the dealership and it started up fine this morning. As I'm sitting there the Service Advisor comes and asks if I every have problems with it starting. He said he pushed the button and it just kept turning over without firing up. I went out to check it out and yep, the starter just keeps going and the pickup won't start. Luckily they have an opening this afternoon to check it out. He also said at first it wouldn't recognize the key, which my 2019 would do the same occasionally.

What a pain in the butt this thing is turning out to be.
Did you have the high Rpm/stumble on start up before the update?

cold start of day is about 1800 rpms for almost 2 min then drops but 1 min in it stumbles for a sec like clock work tomorrow morning will be my first cold start i will let you know if it still stumbles with update

it runs better with 93 for sure but if your a slow driver don't haul 900 pound in the bed or tow i would use 89

i have a rebel 392 rear my buddies 321 rear ram runs a little smother shifting than mine 392 rear i feel start to kick turbos in sooner then if shift what seems to cause a jerk in the shift just how i feel when driving slow doing 2200 rpm shifts
