Hey folks. Has anyone heard about the package for the big horn called “back country” and any pricing situation for the 2022 models?

I know the bigger talk is around a GT package for the upper trims, but I wish I can get some “back country “ info and pricing. It’s because if I want to place my order, I might be interested more in this back country package instead of the off-road package.

Yeah…saw the same article that’s why I was asking about it…especially those that might have ordered a 2022.

Seems like a good laid out package, but I’m curious about pricing. If the pricing is between $999-$1299 it’s a good deal. But if it’s the same price as the north edition ($1499) then it doesn’t make sense.

I don't think anyone that's ordered a '22 has a price yet. Could be wrong, but last I saw the ordering was open in the dealer system, but no pricing was listed. Should be available soon though. I believe Sterling Heights is switching over to building '22s towards the end of July.

Correct. The information that I have which could be wrong is the following:

2022 initial order acceptance is 6.14.2021 (tomorrow)

2021 production start up is 7.26.2021

I ordered my 2022 Rebel on May 19 (the 2021 orders had already closed). I have a VIN number already, but no information on production - except for the rumor of a 7/26/21 start date on production. The only new change that my dealer could see was the addition of the G/T package. Other than that, it looks like the same truck as 2021.
I order my 2022 Laramie on May 10th and am in the same boat as you.... waiting. It will be interesting to follow progress once they start gearing up for '22 production.

Thank you for the quick reply. Does anybody know if the pricing and packages came out today?

Priority 1 means "sold order", as opposed to a dealer order for inventory.

I'm actually curious as to how the VIN numbers will correspond to production. The last-6 of my VIN are 101976. What other numbers are out there for 2022 orders?

My order was placed as well on 6.14.2021. but no official pricing. I feel that I'm probly going to be paying extra, but its one of those things that the sooner you get the order in, the faster you will get it.

Here is my information...I wanted the rambox and pano, but I heard about this bighorn back country package, and I got that instead of the offroad package. Hope it's not more than the north edition.

Nothin man...I hope the back country package isn't going to screw me over. I hope it's no more than the north edition package, which is like $1,500. I'm dead set of not paying over $52k but i might be slightly over.. I also have my tread lightly discount which puts me 1% under msrp..but im not including that.

“Priority one” is the designation for a customer (sold) order?
One would think, as per the name, those would get built first. I wonder if they are further prioritized or sorted these days by how many chips they use? Would they build higher priced ones first, the ones with fewer options first, or by color? Curious.
