I hate to say it, but that's probably wishful thinking. These are established VINs, and you don't have a VIN. Unless you actually have a VIN, and they're keeping it from you.

The VINs are purely sequential (by order received). I'm recording the trims as well, for analyzing the delivery dates later.

Currently the ~12,000 - 13,000 range contains:

• 3 Bighorns
• 1 Laramie
• 2 Limiteds
• 1 Rebel
• 1 10th Anniversary Limited (I don't know if this is different from a regular Limited)
• 1 unspecified

@Eighty - I gave you my VIN (112813), but not my trim. I ordered a Big Horn

Something with your order date or VIN seems off. I ordered on 6-22-21 and my VIN is 112813. How did you order a day before me and be 2,700 spots behind me? Maybe Eighty has some insight?

Man, I have no idea. My order was initially entered a few days before on 6.19 and I took the weekend to think it over and did make some changes before ordering on 6.21.
I also realized last night that I should probably be over in the HD forum, since my truck is a 2500, with a different start date. @Eighty?

Yeah, that’s a 2500, and wouldn’t match up to anything here on the 1500 forum.

Ordered May 4th and arrived at the dealer today. It shipped on 07/06. I am in the Detroit area and it took 9 days to go 20 miles lol. Can't wait to pick it up.

Looks like bebrown1075 got his 2021! I ordered 2 days later and I will have to wait for 3 more months to get my 2022......

Looks like bebrown1075 got his 2021! I ordered 2 days later and I will have to wait for 3 more months to get mine......

The 21 got in by the skin of my teeth. Originally they told me I would not get it after the order went in. So they ordered me a 22 on May 7. Not more than a few days later the 21 got scheduled. I pick it up this coming Monday. Another day or 2 later I would still be waiting like many of you The industry is such a mess right now. I work for a supplier and can say the struggle is real for parts.

Prior to that, does the dealer have EASY access to more detailed information on the build? I have a blurry one page copy of the order that the dealer emailed me when I ordered my truck. All options are just one line descriptions. I assumed that they would be the same between the 2021 I built online and the 2022 I ordered and am wondering what options I will get.

Not that I’m aware of. I suspect that they don’t list all the little details until they can confirm that they’ve actually put them into your truck…especially right now with parts shortages.
