2022 Orders

Ordered my Limited longhorn on Sat. 7/10 and paid deposit. All through Mark Dodge, Lake Charles. Assume order was actually submitted Monday the 12th. If anyone has any insight on when I should check on VON , followed by VIN with Mark orders, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

I would think that you would have a VIN by now

Thanks @Eighty. I hope that with all these VINs issued, they're able to get parts and knock these out quick once production starts.

@Eighty, can you share this as a google sheet or something? Then you can just post the link and when updates are made. Just a thought, appreciate what you're doing and putting this together.

FWIW, the public google sheet is a good way to get your data harvested by spammers.

You know, I keep staring at the 2022 order lookahead chart (posted above - #328), and something stands out. There are two sizable gaps in VINs - one between 103,500-112,000 (that's 8,500 trucks), and another between 113,000-118,000 (that's another 5,000 trucks). Everywhere else on the curve, there are a fair amount of users who have weighed in.

So I'm wondering what happened to these 13,500 "missing" trucks. Are they dealer/fleet orders? Maybe. Are they 2021 orders that are being kicked over to 2022's? Maybe.

Seems like those 2021's would need new vins IF they were kicked to 2022's. But, with it looking like 2022 production start may be even further delayed, it seems like they're going to fulfill those orders. Are VINs related to trim at all? How many of us from 112,000-113,000 have Limiteds?

The VINs are purely sequential (by order received). I'm recording the trims as well, for analyzing the delivery dates later.

Currently the ~12,000 - 13,000 range contains:
  • 3 Bighorns
  • 1 Laramie
  • 2 Limiteds
  • 1 Rebel
  • 1 10th Anniversary Limited (I don't know if this is different from a regular Limited)
  • 1 unspecified

It might be some of the military orders. We still don’t have vins yet and have ordered in May
