2019 vs. 2020 RAM 1500

Can I ask how? I was getting 19mpg overall average in my 2016 f150 2.7 eco boost 4x4 lariat.

Im now in a 2019 ram platinum 4x4 hemi seeing 13mpg. Truck only has 600 miles on it I read it improves over time. Im really hoping so!
Based on Fuelly reported averages, the 1st year 2015’s got an average 17.7 (CC Lariat 2.7). Not bad but not what drivers were told. I’m not knocking the motor, I enjoyed it, just seemed hard to keep the “boost” gauge from being activated!

How about AC that actually cools and CarPlay that works every time?
If anything, we've learned how "hit or miss" these trucks are. Mine (build date 8/18) has been cooling great during our heat advisory (temps in mid- to high-90s with heat indices between 105-115) the past few days. I need to steal borrow one of my wife's kitchen thermometers to test the vents. And CarPlay has never failed to work for me with near-daily use, knock on wood.

Every time I switch songs while using either Bluetooth or a USB to my iPhone, I get a 1/2 second static skip about two seconds into a song. Works flawlessly aside from that, but I would consider that a pretty big flaw lol

I get 18-19 on the highway in my laramie 4x4 with 3.92 rear end and it is fun to drive. way acceptable for me

18 average would be fine. Im seeing 13 to 14 :(
Lots of variance being reported, of course driving conditions, idling time, how fast, etc all vary.
We shouldn't be that far off, but then I don't hand calculate. For all I know Im getting 11 instead of 20.

I traded a 2015 F150 SCrrew 2.7 EB with 48k on it that I bought new. My experience was 24-25mpg empty, 9-11 mpg towing. Plenty of power through all speed ranges, BUT...truck ran in 5th or 4th when towing even in tow-haul mode. I have not towed with the Hemi yet, but I can tell you that running light, 2019 RAM Lonestar Quad does attain 22 mpg, and it burns mid-grade fuel instead of premium. And the oil pan leak hasn't been fixed 6 times.

You had a boost gauge???

My XLT didnt, I just had the “seat of the pants” gauge... maybe the Lariat or higher trims had one though. I was surprised the XLT did not, heck my old 99’ Buick Regal GS did.

Just tried ordering on Monday 6/1/19 new 2019 Laramie Longhorn with everything except off-road package and they are not accepting new orders. No news from the dealer as to when 2020 will be available to order.

It’s shutdown until after the holiday break. Then it’ll be 2020MY production with remaining 19’s phasing out. Typically this is the time for the model year change. I’d ask the dealer to try again after break.

Looks like they went back to last month’s incentives.

That specifically says "on select Big Horn" models. That particular incentive has been going. That's not what made last month have extra big incentives for Laramies and up.

Just putting it out there as a heads up. Take it for what it’s worth.

notice it says select too. Could mean only on the oldest inventory, something they do a lot. Best way to check is to go to the shopping tools page, click offer by model, change to whatever trim you are buying, and boom. Those are the rebates you will get.

If you go to the website and click on the small number it brings this up.
