2019+ Rams with Lifts/Levels, and/or aftermarket wheel tire setups

Question for those with the off road package, and decided to go with a 3.5" lift with the upper control arms.

So for example with ready lift or rough country lift. Are you guys getting the spacer on top of the strut...or the spacer on top of the strut AND getting taking the strut apart and adding the spring loaded spacer as well ?

I think with those with the off road package are going without the spring loaded spacer.

This is the exact lift I have ordered along with the same size tires. Except I am buying trail grapplers. Could you please post any other pictures, especially side shots. How was rubbing in front wheel well? Truck looks super! thank you
Nice!
Rubs a little bit in the front but I just need to fasten the inner liner back and it should fix it. I did remove the small mud flaps in the front and had to bend the metal tab upwards to keep it from hitting the tire. Other than that really no issues.

Start of my 75th power wagon build so far mud flaps, tint, bed cover, recovery kit,35’’ ko’s, aev snap pro cal, and full wrap with power wagon across the bottom doors when done. Next up full undercarriage skids up grade. And a few powder coating on some things Will post up as it goes along.

Appears those are F rated 12 ply tires. Do you or anyone else running 35/12.50s F rated regret getting them due to ride quality and not running an E 10 ply? Thank you. Looks awesome.

Haven’t compared between the two different sets of tires but the ride isn’t too bad. A bit rough on the pot holes but overall tolerable.
 
Looking to level soon, either ready lift level or the bilstein route. Looking at fuel 20x10 -18 and 33s. Anyone know if there will be any problems here? And if I get the wheels/tires first would it work until leveled? Thank you!
 
2.5” Motofab level on the front, rear stock height with Bilstein 5160s added. Will be getting my 5100s added to the Motofab level on the front at 0.9” once my control arms come in to be right around the 3.5” mark. Adding a 1.5” Motofab spacer to the rear along with that. Should put me around 3/4” rake all together. Wondering if 3/4” rake will be enough. It’s sitting pretty much dead level right now, 1/10” rake completely flat surface.
Stock 20x9s with 285/65/20 Falken Wildpeak AT3/W. These tires are phenomenal. I’ve had them on for almost 47k miles now and still have about 8/32 left on them.

Looks great. How’s your uca angles with the 2.5 spacers?

They seem to be fine. Didn't bother with them as it was only 2.5" and I was under the impression from reading/researching that 3-3.5" is when you wanted to start watching the angles. But everything with the UCAs has held up fine for the 47k miles that the spacers have been on. I did purchase the Mopar UCAs that come with the 2" Mopar lift since I will be adding Bilstein 5100s, on setting 3, to my level to be at roughly 3.5" up front total.

Im in the process of getting almost the same result, however Im going to use the mopar 2.5" with ORG springs to get fully level in the front. Will probably replace UCA after a few kmiles or before my first off roading trip.

Im considering the wildpeaks as well, however in 295/70r18. Would you go with the wildpeaks again? I also really like the new Nitto Recon Grabbers but they are pretty expensive.

I thought about the ORG spring route as well but I’ve heard of people doing it and saying it stiffens the ride up a little since they are a little more heavy duty. I can’t attest to it as I did not pursue that route so don’t take my word for it.
As for tires, I’m currently in the process of choosing new tires as I am searching around for 18” rims now, either rebel take offs or just buying aftermarket all together. The rebel rims limit tire width as they are only 8” and that really limits the tire choice between a few, Wildpeaks being one of them, and hopefully recons once more sizes are out. But I would most certainly buy these Wildpeaks again. If the recons aren’t out in a size I want by the time I’m buying I’ll end up with the Falkens again, they are fantastic. Not loud on hardball road especially with the noise cancelling cab. My dad has a 2016 f150 with KO2s and those are louder than the Wildpeaks are.
I’ve had them on a few logging road/firebreak type trails and a little area of “crawling” (more like mini dirt shelves and some lopsided obstacles, nothing solid axle crawling crazy) and they performed great with no issues. I’ll have 50k on them soon and I still have a good amount of tread left as shown in the picture.
I would highly recommend if they are within your price range since they can get expensive. I got a steal on these because they weren’t anywhere near as popular as they are now.
I’ve also heard/read good things about the toyo at3 but have never had toyo so can’t attest to them either. Still between the wildpeaks and recons mainly though.

In the end, I just go off what my dad has always said; there’s 3 things between you and the ground that you don’t ever want to cheap out on: shoes, mattress, and tires. So I don’t limit myself on tire price as opposed to other mods.

I ordered some Wildpeaks yesterday (y) Looking forward to taking them on a few trips this winter.

Im 50/50 on the ORG spring as of now. I may just get the lift/tires done and put ORG springs in later.

And I agree, buy once cry once! Quality matters.

Heres my 2022 Limited Longhorn Ecodiesel non-orp with 2" front and rear spacers (MZS branded off of Amazon, under $140cdn for them) BFGoodrich Radial All Terrain KO2 LT285/65R20 tires. Tires rub just slightly on the inside top edge of the mud flaps, which I can either trim or just screw them to the stock liner to hold them out of the way.20211106_143926.jpg
