Wow, that is bad ***. Well done. Can I ask if your tire pressure sensors work? Mine are not and haven't since I put my wheels on. Can you tell me which ones you used? Dealer and tire shop pointing their fingers at new technology. Meanwhile I'm stuck with error messages


They were working at first it seemed but now they kicked off one by one. I think they were only working because the old one were in my bed, as soon as I took them out it errored out.
 
Hey @DSOOBY You should post WITH your pictures exactly what you did -level? size of tires/rims/offset etc. cost would be informative too. p.s. GREAT looking truck - WELL DONE!!!!! i know u posted it earlier but to have the info with the pictures would be very beneficial.

It wasn't likely that. Mine worked from the dealership till about the next time I drove again. Original sensors were never in the truck for me. I'm working on new sensors and I'll report what I find out. Please do The same. Been a week with no tpms.

truck looks badass man! do the tires push out passed the fenders with the 10" wide and negative offset? how much clearance would you say you have in the fenderwell while turning the wheel lock to lock?

It definitely sticks outside the fender, by an in or two I would say. I’ll take a picture of it tomorrow when it’s light out. The 305/555 R 20 (33x12.5 for those that don’t know the conversion) clearat full lock all ways with about a half inch from the liner. It’s pretty close but it works. Some trimming of th inner fender liner will allow for 35’s for sure.

Good to know. I’m headed out of town for the weekend so I’ll have to do some more digging when I return. Keep me posted if you find out the problem.
 
Interesting. They claim a 35 will clear on their 3.5” lift. Maybe with a narrower wheel
 
Rear wheel horsepower/mpg?
I seem to recall an article someone else posted about how adding bigger tires decreases rear wheel horsepower and fuel mileage. One could reasonably conclude that going the other direction would have the opposite effect (which may have factored into marketing numbers based decision making).
Just a guess.

It definitely could lower fuel mileage and performance, but not necessarily by “decreasing horsepower.” The power output remains constant, but it is being forced to push a larger (greater circumference) tire with a wider contact patch that is heavier. Plus if you actually lift the truck it is becoming wayy less aerodynamic which will add more drag. Thus, it will definitely feel slower the larger the tire you put on. Once you start getting up to about 37” tires a lot of guys re-gear their trucks, which forces the rpms to stay higher in the engine’s power-band & make it “feel” like it has more power.

It’s not the width of the wheel that but the negative offset. Ram, used a +1 offset on their Mopar truck Showcasing their 2” lift/levelwith 35x12.5s. Rough country used the stock wheels with 35s as well. Readylift advertises a 10” wide wheel with a +18 offset though, mine go the exact opposite way.

Any time you’re pushing outside the wheel shell for a “stanced” or “bull dog” look, you’re going to see some issues with figment. Thankfully everything clears on my set up

Fine looking machine. Delmonico red pearl coat will be hard to beat in a wax off. I think the 2019 body lines accent the color. Last year's same color don't look as rich or lacks color depth in comparison.
 
Just got done installing the Readylift leveling kit with upper control arms. The extra money for the control arms is definitely worth it as the angle changes a lot. Was fairly easy to install though. Did it in under 3 hours. I still have to get the alignment done.

Unfortunately I realized my wipers aren't working and we are supposed to get rain all week long so it is at the dealership now to get it taken care of. Sucks to have to park it right after I get it looking how I like.

Here are a few quick pics. I'll take some better ones after I get it back and get it cleaned up. The pictures don't do it justice, and raising the front end up makes it look much more aggressive.

Ordered some 22x10 gloss black Fuel Mavericks and 33x12.5x22 Toyo AT2 Extremes. Probably just adjust the front ride height up a little to level it with the air suspension.
 
I have read through the pages but I couldn't find an answer. I have the air suspension and want to run 33" tires on the factory 22's

Thinking Nitto Ridge Grappler -LT285/50r22 Any thoughts?
