2019+ Rams with Lifts/Levels, and/or aftermarket wheel tire setups

Looking at the specs for the Fuel Vapor 20x9 (don't see a 9.5" anywhere...), you might want to see what offset he is planning on getting for you as there's quite a difference in the offsets offered.

The larger the number, the more the wheel/tire will be tucked under the truck (closer to the suspension). Too far in, and you risk rubbing on the control arm/other components. Too far out (smaller numbers, or even getting into negatives) and you run the risk of rubbing on fenders/bumpers/trim.

Has anyone found what the factory offset is for the DTs?

For the DS's: Stock Ram 1500 wheels specs are as follows:
Size:
17x8 +25 offset (5.5” backspacing) 20x9 +19 offset (5.75” backspacing)
Anyone know the bore size for the DT?

Not sure if this is the right thread, but I was surprised to notice today that the 2019 longhorn I was checking out had smaller tires than my 2017 sport. I belive they are 275 55R 20 bridgestones. My stock goodyears on my last 3 4th gens have all been 275 60R 20, the new ones have noticeably less sidewall.
 
They have gone to a smaller tire on the 19's which surprised me. I'm not sure what the reasoning was behind that.
 
I really like the larger sidewall, these are now the same size as Chevy 20" tires....

Do you know what size the 22" tires are?

I drove a Longhorn and it was very nice, just as good as any of the reviews. Smooth, felt faster than mine, amazing interior and tech. The only thing I don't like is the little tires which are easy to change.
 
The 22s have 285/45s on them. I noticed the same as you about the 19s feeling faster than my 2016 Sport.

Rear wheel horsepower/mpg?
I seem to recall an article someone else posted about how adding bigger tires decreases rear wheel horsepower and fuel mileage. One could reasonably conclude that going the other direction would have the opposite effect (which may have factored into marketing numbers based decision making).
Just a guess.

Veey well could be, that was my thinking as well. I definitely noticed going to a bigger tire on my truck.

I was looking at the Readylift kits on their site as I am trying to decide what I want to do. I saw this in the description for the spacer leveling kit. Is there something I'm not understanding? The suspension is getting pushed up regardless so the ball join is going to be at the same angle whether its from a spacer on the spring, or at the top of the strut. I don't see how it would be any different. Seeing as how even MOPAR is replacing the UCAs with their 2" lift kit, I would assume the factory UCAs will not fare too well.

On another note, any opinions on the strut extension leveling kit or the 3.5" kit? The 3.5" kit looks like just the right amount of lift to me and would be perfect, but I don't want to run into any problems later on down the line.
 
For years they had standard 275/60-R20. Why they changed must be ether cheaper or weight. Funny same diameter as the 22 inch wheels. To add more mystery, Canada build site 275/60-R20 are standard.
The difference is about 3.3% smaller tire. 1 inch less height.

I'm guessing it was to make the MPG look slightly better. Still, I hate it. I didn't even realize it until a few days ago. My '13 that I traded in had 34s and a leveling kit, so I expected the '19 to sit lower and the tires be smaller. Wasn't until 2 or 3 days after I bought it that I realized it was on 32s instead of 33s. Was going to put new tires on soon anyway, but probably even quicker now.
 
Does anyone know the what all the lug nut specs are or where I can find them? Looking to get some wheel locks and spline drives for my aftermarket wheels and just want to make sure i get the right ones.

Wheels and Tires ordered yesterday, now It's a waiting game for readylift to put the 3.5" SST in stock and I'll get this ram looking proper. I know in the past there were concerns of bad angles with the 3.5 (previously 4 inch) systems these companies were putting out but in the video readylift put out you can actually see the angles on the CV axels and Tie rod ends (lower ball joints are still a mystery) and the angles look pretty darn good! No worse than a 2 inch level on the 4th gens. I think this is due in part to the air suspension being adjustable so more play in the angles was just built in from the factory to start with. This is good news for anyone who wants a bit more clearance but doesn't want to go cutting into a + 50K vehicle to do a full suspension lift.

I can't wait get everything on and show yall the final product. I would expect by mid June I should have everything together.

Thanks. I did a bunch of lflip flopping on what I wanted wheel wise for awhile but I'm glad I landed on the Hostile rather than the Fuels. It's a very clean design which I think will help accentuate the lines of the DT better. I ended up with the Nittos simply because they look like they will be a bit quieter than the Toyos I originally thought I was gonna get. Every review I saw of them included the words "smooth" and "quiet" . The ride of the DT is one of the best things about it and I would like to maintain that ride as much as possible.
 
Hey guys, so just to confirm everything, the wheel hubs and pattern sizes are the same as 6-lug GM/Chevy? That makes 6x139,7mm, 78,1 center bore and M14x1.5 lug thread? Thanks.

Those angles do look pretty good, thats definitely comforting. Your truck is going to look great when done, I can't wait to see it.

From everything I've found that seems to be the case which means there will be tons of wheel options.
 
I did the Ridge grappler 33x12.5 for the same reason. Also went with fuel Vapors because I just like that wheel and it was the the nicest of the all black without chrome accents. With a black appearance package I felt that was the way to go.
I was told I'd have no rubbing but we shall see.
