2019+ Rams with Lifts/Levels, and/or aftermarket wheel tire setups

I have a question about aftermarket wheels. This is the first time I've ever shopped for aftermarket wheels in my life. I noticed something disturbing, maybe y'all can answer this for me. Why do 95% of the aftermarket wheels have these bolts, rivets, screws around the outer rims? There are lots of them that don't have them, so obviously they are not a requirement. But almost all of them have it in some form or another. To me they look absolutely terrible (my opinion). It's like Liberace designed them with rhinestones studded around the edges. What's the deal with this look?

Two possibilities: either a two piece wheel which costs more and usually a stronger wheel, or trying to look like a two piece wheel. Very popular with the truck crowd and can be had cheaper.
You could also be looking at wheels with a bead locker that bolts on. That keeps your tires' bead where it should be when doing some low tire pressure rock crawling. Highly desirable in those situations.

They are milled out cirlces that are supposed to resemble a rivet. They are purely aesthetic and are imitating a beadlocker wheel. It's just a popular design cue that I don't really like either. You just have to look around and find the design that you like that doesn't have them.

Here are some pics I wanted to post to this thread. Details in my thread “All fixed up!” in the 5th gen mod/accessories section. Thanks!

Anyone have a tire recommendation for a stock 22” setup with air suspension? Anyone running 33/12.5? I actually like the stock 22” wheels and I want to avoid messing with the suspension if I can. I may consider a leveling kit, but I don’t see a lot of options yet for those of us with air suspension.

I like those mud flaps.

I have a set of these GM replica rims coming (like the guy on youtube has), but am going with 305/35R24 tires which are 32.7" I will have a 2wd truck (If I ever get it - yes, has Rambox option) so not going for the raised look, more of the down low and slick look since its a Limited with air suspension.

I'm very interested in seeing that. This truck looks goooooooooooood. I don't necessarily need 35s...but I'm sure it would look good with 22" wheels and 33" tires too.

The best way to level the 4th gens is with the Bilstein adjustable front struts. I imagine that will continue with the 5th Gens as well, they are adjustable from stock height up to 2.8 inches of lift all whole improving ride quality over the stock struts.
Ive been looking for these for my 2019 ram, have you seen them yet

Might be a while before I get my truck, but will post some pics of the wheels/tires once they come.

Picked up a set of Falken Wildpeak AT3W in 275/60/20, which is of course the stock size for the previous generation. I’m sure the reason for them going 275/55 is economical and fuel-saving, but it just didn’t look right to me. Stock suspension, although it may look a bit leveled with the small trailer on back.

PS; these tires are currently on sale in Discount Tire Direct’s eBay store for $584 shipped to your door.

Speed was recalibrate. Couldn't tell. You mpg before because I had them installed before I purchased the car. I'm getting 16 to 17 highway, and 14 to 15 local roads.
Who rid your recalibration?
