The volume at the source makes a difference with Bluetooth. Higher volume on the device requires lower volume via the stereo.
well even if i use USB or just FM or sirius XM radio its not very loud
I have never used polyfill before and this speaker is so slim and open. How did you add it? Did you just put a small ring of it on the backside?
the enclosure is larger than what you see.. you can see the fill l did place all around ... theres several inches all around the speaker itself and a larger cavity to the right you cant see ... l just placed a layer of poly fill all around as well as the cavity ...simple... no fill was placed directly in back or onto the speaker ...just the surrounding area's ...

I have a 2019 Crew Cab with the 19 (supposedly) speaker HK system. I've used Crutchfield alot in the past and their service and free installation parts (like harnesses) are awesome and thie prices are decent and never had an issue through them with compatibility but they offer (currently) no solutions for the subwoofer behind the rear seat. Under the subwoofer category of "What fits your truck" they have for $185 : JL Audio C5-525cw-RP. Would those be a good substitute for an actual sub in the rear? All 4 doors would be uber expensive, but what if you just did 2? I'm thinking of doing a few things I read here, like putting the poly fill in the sub in the rear (you dont pack it tight right? Just loose?) and deadening the bolts with some sort of padding or double sticky tape as mentioned.... I also am seriously considering upgrading some key speakers like the door and dash, but does anyone know if the 2 in the front door are component speakers fed by a common feed? That would make upgrading them super easy with a decent set of components. Or does the wiring get messy and have multiple leads coming from the AMP?
Those are small 5" door subs. Although it would sound good, nice and tight, it would not be a viable replacement of the 10" sub behind the seat. The 10" sub that is already there would still be pounding away and new door subs would not really mask that or be a replacement that provides very hard thump. Although it would sound nice and clean and might be a slight improvement in sound, I think you might see more benefit with the polyfill solution for the money. Just my opinion, I would focus on the sub first. Not sure how big of benefit you would hear from Harmon to JL in the doors because the Harmon should be pretty decent already.
@ny2az I went outside and took a look at everything the other day. I'm curious to what steps you took to get to the sub. I did the handle release thing on the seat, but it appears I may have to do both seats like that and pull all the covered liner out to access it. If that's the case, how difficult is it? Looks like a few pieces of it too
Go to the dealer and ask for a Amp Enhancement update, You're going to be blown away.
