2019 RAM 1500 hellwig swaybar

not a chance i would do this!

sending it back and getting a replacement is by far the best way to go.

I believe you are right. It's clearly a forging issue and you can't just bend spring steel back into shape.

so want to grab this!! Ugh why do we have to renovate the house now. Damn you wife haha

What do you think Helwig is going to do with it? Bend it back and send it back! lol

no, i do not think a reputable company would do something like what you describe. they will put the failed part in the scrap metal pile to be recycled into new bars.

just wondering, are you a business owner?

I own 3 of them. 100% A+ reputation in each field (I can see you're going to try to impugn my integrity)

Bending that end 5 degrees back straight will have no ill effect on that part. He could have run it like that and never had any issues due to the way the end links function.

i am not trying to do anything to your “intregrity”, sir. you are doing a fine job with your posts letting the rest of us formulate our opinions. I just asked a question.

I'm happy to report my replacement sway bar is now installed and this one is perfect. I put it on the softest setting and the ride is great. Might be the best of both worlds. Very smooth and the road imperfections are minimized. Turns are not as planted as the middle setting, but there is still a difference from stock. I'll try this out for a week and then try the middle setting again for a week. All in all I'm happy to have this thing on for good, Hellwig is a great company all around.20200111_112002.jpg

I’ve been on the middle setting since I installed mine last February. I think I’m going to try to softest setting just to see if I notice a difference on some of these rough Tampa bay roads...

I started on middle for a few days, then stiff, then soft. I have been on soft for the last few months.

Just to confirm this will fit 2020 too? Their site says only 2019 but if I am not mistaken the 2020 are the same?

And for those of us lowered more than what OEM airride does (myself with an INEZ 4/6 drop)....Hellwig confirmed that you get the same benefit from their rear bar with that much of a drop in case any of us that are lowered might be wondering.

I’m running the middle setting as I’ve done since day one. Has or is anyone on the stiffest setting ?
