I saw that this issue has already been brought up...please disregard. I will have the dealership address it when I go in for service next. I'm still under warranty.
My 2021 Ram 1500's driver side visor wont stay up and by looking at it the bracket that attaches the visor to the roof of the car is broken. Has anyone else run into this issue? How did you resolve it? Is there a part you can order and fix it yourself? i'd hate to go into the dealership for...
Yep, 10 minutes for the engine to die after I took out the fuel pump fuse...Or close to it. I figured the engine would cut out quickly.
Anyway the service department at the local Ram dealership said they need to replace the Radio Frequency Hub.
I just saw this post on the Forum: RF hub...
fuse K01 was the fuel pump relay. I pulled that and it shut off after about 10 minutes. Thanks!
Tomorrow I'll call the dealership and figure out how I can get it to them to look at.
My wife had the same thing come up when she was looking at the potential cause. We had a downpour yesterday and I'm wondering if something may have gotten wet and that may be causing this issue.
Has anyone had an issue where the engine will not stop running? My truck is going through that right now. I'd take it to the dealership but it's Sunday.
I've had my MFT for 2 years and it seems like its held up fine. I guess I was wondering if anyone had issues after they got a truck with one. The service guy at the dealership I was at said he thought maybe the reason we see less of them is because of the higher cost. I can see no reason not...
So, I was just at the dealership for service for my Ram 1500 and right before I left, I looked at the on-hand inventory. Of all the trucks I saw (which there were several), I didn't see one with a multifunction tailgate. Does anyone know why? I have one on my truck and absolutely love it...
Apparently changing the Vapor Canister worked for me. I haven't had the issue again since it was replaced. After filling my tank 4 times or so, the issue seems fixed.
I have the Du-Ha without a locking lid. It works great for me. I store all kinds of stuff in there. And I bird hunt during the Fall and Winter months and can keep a couple shotguns in there when I'm going to the field to hunt. I don't have experience with the other options except for the...
I am skeptical that the change they are making to my truck will fix the issue but I'll see. They are not replacing the fuel tank just the vapor canister. I'll be sure to share my results.
My truck is in the shop right this second. I got this diagnosis:
There is a tsb for the issue I have. I got the above message from the Service department...earlier today. So, apparently yeah...it is a common issue. They are telling me that the fix is the Vapor Canister.
Yeah, looking at ceramic on my sides and pano sunroof. I was seeing other input from others about the windshield. I'm in Colorado, so it doesn't get too terrible hot here usually but the sun is more intense.
Hello,
If you have ceramic tint on your windshield, have you experienced any performance with other devices in your truck? Radar detector or dash specifically? If so what tint do you have?
Thanks.
I have two large (85 lb) dogs. I went the topper route. I didn’t want them in the cab for reasons you stated and with the topper, I can open the topper’s windows and if I want to, I can open a window from the cab to the topper. It’s the best solution I could come up with. I hunt with them and...
Yeah Silver, I was surprised when I heard that the Service tech implied that it was a rare occurrence. I had even called them to make sure they weren't busy before my truck went in and the person I spoke to said sometimes the Check Engine Light is triggered by a fuel evap issue. Fyi, my truck...
