I would have sworn that there was a setting that would raise or lower the steps but for the life of me I cannot find anything. The OM tells me to refer to Uconnect manual and cannot find it in there.
TIA
My slider is not working and looked in the Owners manual to find the location of the fuse for the slider. Cannot find a listing for it anywhere.
Does anyone know which fuse controls it, and where it is located?
Thanks!
I ran out of gas with my truck on a steep incline, nose down. After putting in 2 gallons it still won’t start. Do you think because it’s on the incline I need more gas in order to reach the engine supply hose?
Thanks
Had a harrowing experience this week....
Driving in hard rain I was swamped by a car traveling in opposite direction. I was in heavy traffic going maybe 5-10 mph and at least a car length behind the car in front of me. I began getting the BRAKE! Alert when I shouldn’t. It repeated half dozen...
Hi,
I ordered the airlift loadlifter 500 ultimate air bags for my 1500 but was told by the dealer that installing them would require cutting into the frame, thereby voiding my warranty. They are looking into alternatives but does anyone have a rec for airbags that do not require this?
Thanks...
Is it true that gas mileage suffers when using ACC? I also see the owners manual states that ACC should not be used when towing....anyone know why that would be?
Thanks
I'm about to pull the trigger on a Winnebago Minnie Plus 5-er, model 25RKS. It has a dry hitch weight of 820# (which I triple checked since the trailer dry weight is 7,220). I will be using a Reese sidewinder pin box to accommodate my short bed, and a B&W fixed hitch in the bed (125#). With a...
Hi,
If I understand correctly the class IV hitch on my Longhorn is rated for 1,000lb. I read somewhere that a good WD hitch can increase that.
Is that true?
Thanks!
I’m wondering if there is anyway to increase the payload capacity of my Longhorn/5.7/4WD/3.92?
I’m shopping for a 5th wheel and the 1,350 hitch weight is on the very edge of acceptability for me.
I’d be happy with a 25% increase.....
I was thinking maybe there might be heavier duty springs that...
This weekend I'll be taking my new Longhorn on the NC beach for the first time. (actually everything I do is 1st time since I only have 100 mi on the truck ;).
When I've taken my 2010 Audi Q5 on the sand, I'd reduce tire pressure. Is that necessary on this truck.? The reason I ask is that I...
First weekend with my new Ram! I have a diamond black 5.7 Longhorn with saddle interior.
Decided to buy a truck for upcoming retirement years, in order to pull an RV / boat and explore the US for a few years.
After looking at all the usual suspects, it was love at first sight once I was...
