I still think that the lemon law would come into play because this SHOULD be covered under the powertrain warranty. In no way would this be an insurable loss as they are trying to say. Either way contacting a lemon law attorney would be the way to go in my opinion.

That is ridiculous...car insurance does not cover a mechanical failure unless the failure is due to an accident of some sort that is a covered loss.

I have the Undercover Swing Cases under my latches and although it was tight I was able to get them latched and unlatched so as long as whatever is below them has a bit of clearance I haven't found it to be an issue with anything yet

The 18" that is the spare is the exact same size tire in total diameter...not a doughnut size spare. I put 18" rims/tires on my truck in the winter so I don't beat up my night edition 22's.
