The bumpers really don’t stick out much further than the top of the hood and tailgate. I think is a safety design for front pedestrian impacts.

My garage is about 250” or so depending on where you measure from on the garage door and I have about 16” left over when i put my bumper just about on the front wall. I usually pull in and can easily get within an 1” or so just with the front camera ( have a 1” thick foam pad on wall where...
Not for me. We have a 3 row SUV, lifted Wrangler and the Ram and average about 20k miles between all three per year so the extra few hundred per month isn’t going to sway us to buy something else. Even if RAM came out with a 30 MPG version that was awesome the sticker premium probably would out...
I’m not really disappointed with fuel economy but more annoyed that most trucks had the eTorque option when I bought mine and averaging 15 mpg with all the tech that went into eTorque seems like a fail and future liability. Sure it shifts smooth but it’s not like the std hemi shifts like a...
I recently did a day trip that was almost 200 miles on flat back roads and was able to get 20 mpg average at 55mph but I usually don’t drive that slow. Really dips down dropping almost a mile per gallon with each additional 5 MPH. I was close to 14 when doing 80. I have a heavily optioned...
I’ve had mine for 15 months and very happy with it. I’ve never had issues closing it but did have to play with the screw adjustments at install to get it to sit level. I always close it after the tailgate so the seal lays on top of the gate for better rain protection and it does need to be...
Max steel right pics when I was getting ready to ceramic coat it. I have the painted mirror caps in the garage ready to go on and wouldn’t mind swapping bumpers for painted ones in the future for a little less chrome.

I’ve been pricing swapping a chrome bumper out for painted and the cheapest new one I’ve found was $700 ish range on eBay pre painted but you’ll need to place the middle and lower plastic pieces too. Doubt you’ll be able to do it yourself for less than $1k unless you found a used one and there...
This is good info thx for sharing. I do this every few months in my ‘15 wrangler to bring back the pep… if you could call it pep.

I looked into this when I first got my truck last year after not being able to find one with color matched bumpers. I ended up not getting the wrap due to price being too high with possibility of a poor finished product. Max steel is a tricky color.
Planned on just paying to have both painted...
I have had the Carlinkit 2 in my RAM for almost a year and it works very well. Occasionally it will not connect but a quick unplug and plug back in restarts and works fine in a few seconds. I feel it works as well as my wife’s X7 which has factory wireless CarPlay. Guessing the newer 3.0 version...
I pushed as hard as I could and was afraid of breaking the windshield. I think there must be a clip or something the tightens the cup around the ball. Oh well.

Anyone else have this issue? My son was moving my rear view mirror and it popped off the ball. I couldn’t push it back on and the dealership service mgr couldn’t either. Car is under warranty and they are going to order a whole new unit - which is the tech pkg digital camera mirror. It’s hanging...
I’ve had the Carlinkit 2 for 9 months and it’s been virtually trouble free and love it. Have you tried a firmware update?

Is it a cover or did you replace the whole lower bumper? I’m not a fan of my chrome bumpers and have been exploring some options but they all seem expensive.

I’m aligned with mikeru82s comments and went with the Prox15 roll up. It’s been great so far but sometimes I could see using the hard top partially folded back in a 2/3 closed position if I wanted some stuff covered but needed a longer or taller item to stick up past the tailgate. With the roll...
I did 2 coats of the turtle wax ceramic spray on mine right after I bought it following a clay mitt wipe and prep solution wipe. I think it definitely improves the finish and keeps it cleaner. I’m planning on doing it every 6-12 months because I don’t have time to wash it by hand and use the car...
