I love towing with my 1500 4x4 with 3.92 rear end but I only tow a 20’ bass boat. Nowhere near 10K pounds. I’d be looking at a 2500 if that was the case.
Ford is having the same issues. This is not a bait and switch. The global supply chain is totally screwed at the moment and it’s not just limited to auto manufacturers.
My ‘21 does this as well. Has anyone discovered a fix? Everything seems to be working fine so I’m not inclined to take it in unless there is a known fix.
My 2021 with 900 miles has had this issue 3 times already. It seems to come back the next day but this afternoon I was hooking up the boat when it went out and it really pissed me off. This shouldn’t happen on a new vehicle.
I have them and don’t have any complaints. Lay them out in the sun for a few minutes so they warm up. They’ll be more flexible when warm and easier to install.

I’m disappointed in the mileage I’m getting as well. I wouldn’t be so disappointed if the sticker had just been accurate. I’ve never bought a vehicle that has been so far off the advertised mileage. I guess the 3.92 and ORG are what’s killing me. I love the truck but this MPG is turrible.
