2019 Ram. My leaking rear window was replaced/fixed under warranty back in 2020. Now I just passed 41000 miles and the dealership that replaced the window says that its not even covered under my Mopar extended warranty.
I went one size up, to 275/60R20. Fills up the wells a bit more nicely. No rubbing issues at all, in fact this is the tire size the 5th gen should have been fitted with OEM, like the 4th gens. 55‘ is too small but I suspect they went with that for better fuel #s
Edit: ok, figured it out! The fog light dropout with high beams On actually shows as ACTIVE on the Menu. To keep the Fog lights On with high beams On, you have to select DEACTIVATE. I was leaving it on ACTIVE. Totally counter intuitive!
Bought the scanner, security bypass cables, plugged everything in. Spent $20 to input my VIN into the JScan app. Went into the menu to enable fog Lights on during high beams…. Nothing! I tried multiple times and even got the message Changes made. So far looks like a waste of money. Any ideas of...
How many steps do you all take with regards to anti theft devices for your trucks? Given that a work acquaintance just had his 5th gen Ram stolen from an employee parking lot I’ve started to give it some thought. I recently bought the steering wheel Club as a beginning deterrent, cheap and...
Looks great! Congrats!
I found all of my blacked out badges on eBay. I only bought the OEM ones.
I got a set of red decals for the 5.7 HEMI badge from Reflective Concepts.
Sent you a reply on PM about the seat covers.
Regarding TPMS light… I never got any. However I had them put on at my dealer because I wasn’t too sure about doing it myself and didn’t want to screw it up.
Thank you, that’s what I was looking for.
Note, nothing failed on mine. Just wondering what level of protection I have with my ESP. Zero complaining here just a bit of confusion
The ugly question rears its head again. A couple years ago when I bought the MaxCare ESP the answer was apparently yes It is covered. Now, we have a forum member whose LED headlight was just denied coverage through his MaxCare ESP. What gives? What’s the point of an ESP warranty when a $900 LED...
love them! Totally changed the look. Also replaced the cloth interior with the Built to Serve seat covers. Found them on eBay and they were from a patriot blue BTS edition so the color matches.
Just in case anyone is worried about the 2019 year model being a first year production model: my ’19 has been very reliable. I did have a couple of early mileage teething problems that were quickly fixed under warranty - they all happened within the first 10,000ish miles.
1) Master brake...
You can also purchase a Bighorn with the standard cloth and buy BTS seat covers if you can find them on eBay, and replace the cloth with that. Did that to mine and it totally changed the interior of my truck. I’m with ya, I’m a “low end” Bighorn guy, never needed anything beyond that trim level...
Thanks all. I forgot to mention the stuff I had fixed under warranty as well.
1000 miles - master cylinder replaced after a heavy braking effort to avoid a deer
3000 miles - valve body replacement after the tranny got stuck in 3rd
8500 miles - drivers side mirror replaced due to the old one...
Just wondering how much/how little folks on this forum drive their Rams. My goal is to keep my 2019 Bighorn til the wheels fall off. I only drive 10k-11k/ year... Just passed 34k miles and she’s running great! October 2019 purchased brand new. Factory B2B about to run out, soon the Mopar ESP...
