I love mine. To be honest, I wasn't going to get it when ordering my truck but my wife said that she would like it. That was the only thing she said about the order process so I obliged her, I'm glad I did. I use it every chance I get. My truck has sat outside from the last 18 months while we...
Just to clarify, Bilstein 5100 can be installed at clip #5 with ORP. #5 is the max Bilstein states not #4. I dont have it handy but in the instructions there is a table that shows each clip # and the corresponding approx. lift for ORP and NON-ORP trucks. Clip #6 & #7 say do not use for ORP trucks.
They fit great and I had no trouble at all installing them. I have had them on for quite a while now and no issues. Like maryland bowhunter, I used a rubber mallet and they went in nice and flush.
I had read that on here and did reach out a short while after the install and he was certain the batch of wrong size clamps was over. Not bad mouthing at all. I should of been more ambitious with looking into it. Then time went on and I didn’t feel right asking for a new clamp 6+ months later. I...
I swapped the ORG shocks for Bilstein 5100 @ 2" and installed Readylift UCA. Full range of motion, no binding or hitting of parts. Plus the readylift uca have a grease zerk. (y)
I ended up getting my B2 oval muffler welded last week. I installed myself almost a year ago and could never just get the clamp tight enough. It was totally bottomed out. I started noticing a noise a couple weeks ago and finally got under the truck and the joint was totally loose and had soot...
I agree, although it is only the Lasfit led that flickers. None of the factory LEDs. Lasfit did send me another pair of them and I swapped one and found nothing changed. Still flicker on startup.
Only the blue footwell leds flicker on start up from what I can tell. The only other non factory leds I put in were the vanity mirror lights and those won't turn on until the truck is running anyways. The rest of my interiors are LED due to the pano sunroof option.
In order to drop the axle enough to pull the springs out you have to unbolt lower shock bolts, sway bar and one side of the traction bar. Once all these are removed then you can lower the axle enough just watch your brake/abs lines. There are a couple of bolts/hangers you can undo to get a few...
I didn’t get any constant drone, I will say I definitely noticed when ECO mode kicked on and off. You can “hear” the change in tone but I wouldn’t say it droned.
Payload is GVWR, 7100 minus curb weight for your specific truck with your specific options. Look on the yellow and white sticker in your driver door jamb. It will tell you, the weight of the occupants and cargo can not exceed xxxx. I don’t think any of our trucks will have a 1800 pound payload.
Sounds like in their manufacturing frenzy to push these things out they made an error with the incorrect nuts being packaged. I reached out to Bilsteinlifts( supplier I ordered from, not manufacturer) and they asked what the number was on the bag of hardware. I had already tossed mine so I...
