They $@!* You in the Drive-Thru!

Kudos for anyone who thought "Hmmm...a Lethal Weapon 4 reference; I'll check this out". Just when you thought it was bad enough to take the hit on a new vehicle and walk away with $XXX/month in payments for XX years, now all those neat features are going to cost you more. Regardless if it's...

Big Brother a.k.a. The Man a.k.a. Stellantis is Watching!

I'm sure my buying experiences was similar to most others - once you finally reach a purchase agreement you sit off in the corner awaiting your turn with the financial department to sign 3 reams of paper where they have one last shot to bilk a few more dollars out of your pocket. While that's...

Seat Belt Buckle Felt (For Those With Center Console)

After Almost 2 Years My First UConnect Update!

Got my first uConnect update today! After only 1 year and 11 months of waiting I finally got an update (OTA). I lost all my presets (AM, FM, and SXM) but still have my favorites. I even had a refresh signal sent to no avail. Hopefully it fixes some of the glitches. I updated to 20.37.11.

Option weight PDF for DS RAM 1500...it will get ya close

To give you an idea my payload is 1426 lbs with all the options I got on my Big Horn (which is most of them). I sacrificed payload for options as I don't tow much besides a utility or U-Haul trailer any more. If you are curious how much the options weigh I have attached the option weights...

I Can't Get the Latest Software Updates Unless...

...there's a problem that can be reproduced by the dealership. I'm told this is because the newer version(s) may cause issues where there weren't any before. "If you're truck is running good with the current software you should leave well enough alone" is what I've been told by my service...

Looks Like I'm Not the Only Ford Guy to Defect

Had a 2003 Ford F-250 diesel that was like a member of the family. I was recently involved in a car accident on the freeway (not my fault) that sent my beloved truck to the shop. Shortly after arrival I got a phone call that the truck wasn't worth the repair and watched 11 years of family...
