So three days after I post in another threead that my truck must have a "unicorn" battery because the original was still going even after 5+years and 140K miles, karma reared its head. While not my first choice, circumstances lead me to get it replaced at Walmart this morning. Not the fastest...
Hey folks. As stated, my LKA just quit. I can cycle the button to on or off and get the corresponding message on the cluster, but it simply doesn't work. No other indications/lights/warnings/CEL, etc. Anyone with such experience, or any ideas?
I'm at 114Kmiles and getting a slight bit of stumbling at idle. I know I'm a bit late on spark plug replacement so thinking that might help. Searched the subject, came up empty, so I'm curious if anyone has done this yet and how difficult it might be. I know the actual replacement job is...
CONFUSED..PLEASE HELP. I'm in the middle of the fluid replacement. In researching this job some say to raise the rear of the truck to get the transmission perfectly level, which requires the rear tires be off the ground by 9 inches! If I watch the many videos, not one single video for ANY ZF...
We've got a CCSB and are considering a Weigh Safe hitch...any folks have this setup and can advise which drop length you chose? Seems to calculate out to the 6" drop, but I'm wondering if you've found that to be too low. What are your thoughts?
I recently rented a Toyota corolla during a trip to Florida. Despite it being a fairly low trim level it did have adaptive cruise and lane keep assist features. I was BLOWN AWAY at how much better the lane keep assist function worked in the Toyota Corolla versus my “expensive“ Ram Laramie...
For the folks that have done a simple leveling (Not a lift) on their 1500's...Can you advise if you took a hit to your highway mileage? I love the look, and would like the bit of additional clearance, so I would likely go with simple Bilstein 5100 method. However, I drive a ton of highway...
just about 70mph average...wish I'd have hand calculated right then, but this tank had a bit of city driving and the tank calculated at 21.94mpg. That was a good day...likely to never to repeated.
So I did not have factory bed lighting, and would have wanted more light anyway so I went with this set up. I found a decent LED strip light kit, a time delay relay programmed to a 3-minute on time, and tapped into the 7Pin trailer harness. I know me and I know that if I used a traditional...
I don't care what any manufacturer claims...I'm hoping for real world information from folks that have installed and have calculated before and after mpg's. I'm less focused on the actual HP and/or Torque gains...just any real mileage improvements. While were at it...any real world MPG...
Does anyone have details on a constant power source for the bed? I have a bed lighting idea and need un-switched 12V. None of the trailer wiring is unswitched...
Any help would be appreciated...
So this happened yesterday on our drive from Columbus OH to Hilton Head, SC. So the glass company says they would normally use OEM glass, even stated there would be a RAM logo like the stock unit. BUT, there is a nationwide backorder (big surprise), and would I accept an aftermarket brand...
Hi Folks. Searched and couldn't find this subject specifically. For those that have had their windshield tinted...do you experience any distortion? I'm particularly concerned about the edges. I'm looking at ceramic tint specifically for heat rejection. Any thoughts?
