does anyone here own vehicles for long or intend to own there Ram for long? i keep reading about guys who flip vehicles every 3 years which is a strange concept for me. i keep vehicles for a long time and i don't see any reason i wouldn't do the same with the Ram i've ordered.
determining...
i don't bother with the salesman, i email the GM who seems like a good guy (haha, far as i can tell, but is this even possible?), he gets back to me pretty quick. he did tell me that 4 months was likely given the covid and demand in general. we're also basically the last dealer on an island off...
i asked my dealer what's happening and got the following message. any help decoding the lingo?
James, They have given your truck a serial number which puts it into D status and the next step is the building of it in D1 status.
so is it the be all end all? do you just drive up and down hills and the tach barely moves and the truck just pulls at any speed without a fuss? is that what it's all about? i've always wanted to know. the few reviews don't really go into any depth.
quite the differences there! one truck looks like they were drunk during assembly that day, the others look like they should. fingers crossed for my factory order. these threads give me a lot to think about upon delivery of my truck.
glad you guys are happy with yours. i have a set that are about 6 months old and i find the road noise to be way more than i expected. fair bit of vibration as well. not the case with you guys or it just doesn't bother you for the high performance off road that you get?
even the dealer hasn't seen an olive green one. it is the least popular colour option and i read on this forum, no longer available. i still see it on the Ramtruck.ca site as an option though. there is an olive green nearby in a Gen 4 and it looks good to me. yes it's a subdued colour for...
you have a full size, crew cab, long box Ram................. IN VANCOUVER!?????!?!?!!!??????
holy crap. that is the most nutters place that i've ever driven by a long shot. and i lived in Toronto for a decade!!
honest question about what these beasts are like to drive and park? i have one on factory order. i currently drive a crew cab short box Frontier. the Ram will be substantially larger. i live in a small Cdn city and i've already figured there's certain parking lots in town that will be off limits...
i'm not clear on what model of truck, with what package or features gets you round vs square fog lights. most photos of front ends i see square, but there's plenty of 5th gen with round. i'm waiting for my factory order. how do i know which style my truck will come with?
i heard it was the least popular colour. very rare for sure. my order is only a month old, i wonder if they will tell me it's not available? it was on the books a month ago.
GM at dealership took my call first thing in morning and changed my order to Level 2 from 1 group. said it was no problem. obviously the truck isn't far enough along yet. so my wife will get the dual climate control which will avoid some conflicts and the heated seats and steering wheel will be...
how are you going to do so? do you have some improved gaskets that fit? is there an online store with premium OEM fitment gaskets for Ram trucks to address these leakage issues?
wow. so when my factory order arrives, should i just start out by putting a bead of lexel, or sikaflex around the back window, shark fin, and brake light right off the hop?
