    Poor gas mileage

I tried running 89 and my mileage went to hell...plus I kept getting tickets and scared the heck out of my wife... and the rest of the people in the parking lot too!

    Hellwig sway bar and towing

I would caution lowering the front of the trailer if the axles are individual rubber torsion suspended. Lowering the front will put more weight on the front trailer axle and effectively shorten the wheelbase. If you have leaf springs with tandem axle suspension it should have an equalizer and...

I would not have expected 300# difference between yours and mine! I guess the larger Crew cab and the E-Torque, as you mentioned add up. I was only referencing the Tradesman in my post because that is the start point for the chart that Shots posted.

Black step boards with chrome bumpers and grill?

These came on my truck when I got it. The plain black doesn't show up as bad as chrome which I like since i don't like the look of steps hanging down.

What did you do to your Ram today???

This weekend - Removed both air dams to get them out of the way for new tow hooks. Then added both factory skid-plates and the bed handle After dealing with the 30 some fasteners that hold the airdam in place it's not going back on again. For the active airdam I just unscrewed the dam off of...

    Spray-in Liner vs Drop-in Liner

I have this same liner. It is discontinued, but my local dealer found one in a warehouse last February. I like having my hitch and tow strap handy at the rear of the bed without getting in the way.

What did you do to your Ram today???

My truck came with those tires and I was expecting the worst - actually they're not bad and have surprisingly good street manners. Since it's a lower rumble with the mud tread they are less noticeable than the Duratracs on our Grand Cherokee. The MDS is louder too - but with 3:21 gears the MDS...

This^ - the torque sounds like a lot for a V6, but you have to let it rev pretty high.

    1500 w/ 3.6 V6 eTorque Towing Experience

Has the trailer been sitting a while? Could be the bearings or brakes were dragging. Easy to tell by feeling the hubs after a short stint on the highway. If one is hot it can create a lot of drag. I have the non-eTorque V6 in my Grand Cherokee and it doesn't have problems towing. I can't...

Anyone lifted in the rear and kept helper bags?

I have 1' lift Eibach springs and kept the airbags in them with no modifications. Works fine so far. I haven't had a real heavy load yet - just a full bed full of firewood.

    Power-Folding mirrors flexing

I doubt the folding mechanism is serviceable. If your truck is still under warranty I would take it to a dealer, if not you may want to look at the replacements that are available through Amazon The mirror head is easy to remove if you take off the inner door panel.

    Power-Folding mirrors flexing

So are they shaking when you drive? I have the folding non-tow mirrors and they are completely solid when driving. Might need to try shaking them by hand and see if they're moving at the pivot or where they're mounted to the body

Official thread for pictures of Ram towing campers

That's really interesting. Do you notice a difference while towing? Why didn't you go farther up on the nose of the trailer?
