    New Off Road Pages

Had those features on my 2014 grand Cherokee which was also uconnect so you would think if the sensors are in place that a software update might add them. but again I would think that you would need the sensors in place.

WiFi hotspot appears dead (SSID not visible)

If your phone is not AT&T then it is possible that you might not have service. yes I paid $20 for a 1 month unlimited data and have found that for me and the wife that it is good to check in now and then. also not all devices have cellular capability (some iPads, tablets, etc) so having WiFi...

WiFi hotspot appears dead (SSID not visible)

I have the same issue and though I have NOT verified it yet, after I switched the cargo and 3rd brake light bulbs from LEDs (I had switched them from factory to LED ) back to 921 regular bulbs it seems to be working for me. i had major issues while in the national parks where there was no...

    Tri-fold cover

Billy James, it is the hard cover and this is what they state “the bed cover incorporates strong aluminum panels with durable, watertight, reinforced vinyl coated hinges. Each panel is made from aluminum alloy commonly found in commercial trailers – yeah, we got you covered! Extruded aluminum...

    Tri-fold cover

I have the WeatherTech hard cover and have driven in some driving down rain and and the bed/cargo was dry. I like that it is aluminum and I feel it is more secure then the soft or plastic top ones. I weigh 220 and I have actually walked on mine so I would feel comfortable putting something on...

Edited: I cancelled my Mopar extended warranty but reactivated it after some good advice on here!

I totally agree with you and when you look at what is NOT covered (batteries, brakes, glass, etc,) it makes sense what you did. i also think if you put miles on it and do the maintenance and nothing happens then generally you are safe.

    Added Hella horns to existing

Added a set of Hella horns to the existing factory pair and what a difference. Now people can hear them. basically removed the radiator shroud/cover (just 12 plastic pop rivets, easy to remove and replace). Then you can see the 2 existing factory horns and the two wires. I stripped some of...

    Uconnect Wifi

Not sure if anyone else has this issue but I was having issues connecting to the uconnect WiFi in the truck (apps - WiFi) i have t-mobile as my provider and I have found there the coverage can be spotty at times. recently was camping in northern CA (Humbolt area before being chased away by the...

    Lastfit bulbs and fob

Not sure if this is related but I made the change to the 3rd brake light and cargo lamps with Lastfit LEDs and now I am having issues when using the WiFi (under Apps). Turn on WiFi and see that it has a signal but when I try to connect a device (phone, tablet) cannot connect. so going to...

Any tips specific to my home situation?

Have you thought of a deionizer? Some are expensive but you can find one on Amazon for under a $100 Deionizer as the spots are caused by minerals and this takes those out. I use some distilled water when I clean as that does not leave streaks but only for small spots and windows.

ETorque ? Anyone happy with it? Reliability ?

I have a 2020 picked up the end of April and have 9987 miles in just over 4 months and I have no issues at all so far. Have driven cross country and also a lot of city driving and stop and go highway as well I like the thought that it is not just idling and wasting some gas. but I do worry in...

    Performance Intakes

Mishimoto does a great job of myth busting about Performance intakes I for one did put a CAI (cold air intske) on my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and I wish I had read this first. Not only saved some money but feeling foolish that it would improve my mileage and I thought pick up and go. again I...

Any good methods to buff out some "desert pinstriping"?

Does anyone really believe that a ceramic coating would have prevented those scratches? No coating will prevent rock chips, prevent a key scratch, etc. A clear bra is almost twice as thick as the thickest coating claim, and the only way to prevent damage is for the sacrificial layer (clean bra...

Which hood bug & stone deflector?

I went with the WeatherTech one and I really like it and the easy install and that it sits off the hood.

    Locking Gas Cap

I would think that unless someone had the special funnel that you could put anything into the tank. It has the flappet and is fairly small and there is not much room to work with. but if it gives you a peace of mind then that is a small price for that. also agree that with everything else...

Fiat Chrysler is recalling over 186,000 Ram pickups

From CBS News Fiat Chrysler is recalling over 186,000 Ram pickups and is telling owners to take them to dealers because the floor mats can interfere with the gas pedals. The recall covers certain 2019 and 2020 model year trucks with factory-installed mats, mainly in North America. The company...

    Line-X or drop-in?

Spray in (line-x) here. Only issue is that it is slick so went with a bed mat so things don’t slide around. But before the bed mat I threw in bicycles, kayaks and camping gear and no scratches. also line-x has life time warranty

I did mine at 21% , figure that is a safe bet and an oil change is the easiest and safest way to take care of the engine
