Now that there's an official recall I don't think warranty or mileage matters. They have to fix it as it's a know issue.

I have 3.92s and average 26+ mpg and have no problem getting 28mpg on the highway.

Yep now he loves to shoot it down whenever he can.
Gets old listening to guys talk about how expensive diesels are.
DEF is almost a cost I don't even consider. I'm in Canada and to fill my DEF tank at a truck stop is $15 or so ever 7-8k kms.
Oil pricing? Wx has made videos saying he paid $17...
I just ordered two from Mopar parts Canada. They were about $70. You have to pay shipping which was about $25 but even with shipping and tax it's cheaper than local dealer.
I've used rock auto in the past and they are usually priced well but I just checked last week and their prices shot up...

Just drove 1130km (700 miles) towing my 7x16 enclosed snowmobile trailer. With two snowmobiles it's probably around 2500lbs or so. Cruise control set at 112km/hr (70mph) with tow haul on. Truck stayed in 8th gear and towed like a dream.
Ecodiesel rocks.

There never is. Life is to short. Buy the truck you want and enjoy it.

Ecodiesel is a great engine for some.

They're not. The whole cartridge is replaced every change and it's all plastic. There's quite a bit of resistance while threading it in. I've done 8 or so oil changes on my ecodiesel and they all went in with some resistance. Lubing the plastic threads helps.
