Hi, My AMP Xtender sits underneath a BAKFlip hard tonneau cover, so I can't specifically comment on whether it actually moves up/down, but I do not hear anything when driving normal city/street roads. Perhaps if you were going off road (maybe something bumpier than a fire road) at high speed I...

New Member Here - Over from the Ford side!

Congrats, welcome as others have said. I converted from a '12 F150 FX4 short bed ecoboost. Though I don't really remember what that stock F150 drove like (I vaguely remember it was big and floaty like a boat), I quickly put on some King coilovers, spring helpers, front intercooler and 5 star...

22" OEM Goodyear's work pretty well in snow!

I did have some trouble getting up my gently sloped hill this morning--but the temp was at 34 deg and it was a wet slushy snow; I was trying to zoom up hill like I did the night previous when it was just packed powder. So there was some slippage, all I had to do was go in reverse a bit, then go...

22" OEM Goodyear's work pretty well in snow!

Yeah, the OEM Goodyear's is what I have. It's gonna dump an estimated ~4 to 6" some more here, but I had no problems last night cutting through unplowed streets and going up an unplowed hill... dare I say, my Ram drives better in the snow than my prior 2012 F150 w/ Goodyear Duratracs or my...

22" OEM Goodyear's work pretty well in snow!

These past 2 days Seattle has seen it's turn to take some of the brunt of the weather, and it's dumped like 1' of snow in parts of the metro. Since it's so rare to have this amount of snow stick around for this length of time, snow plows and snow removal equipment are pretty rare. I live in...

Dead battery, now ABS, ESC, etc. lights on.

My dealer had to clear out the OBD codes that came up after my truck was dead; alternator and battery checked out fine, they think it was b/c I left the doors and hood open for several hours working on the truck LOL... seems to be fine now...

    Gatorback vs Duraflap

Can't comment on the Duraflaps, but I have the Gatorbacks (on both my trucks), and you can order the gunmetal grey color so it's not chrome. The flaps are very heavy, won't 'sail'. Thick heavy duty rubber, secure and easy mounting. Cons? Cost. Pretty much it... buy once, cry once...

If you just need to hook up an extra power wire and don't need the dash cam wire, this is what you want: micro add a fuse You need the micro fuse size...

    Light bar Power Wire

Looks like there's some minor issues regarding this RC light bar... it'd be helpful to consolidate all this info onto 1 thread, so I'm putting it on this one. Before buying the RC light, it'd be helpful for people to take a peek at their lower grill--if it's 1 piece (like it appears to be on...

    Dead battery issues

I had my '19 Limited battery die out on me too, everything sounded just like yours. Managed to jump it w/ my other car (interestingly, my Amazon portable lithium battery jumper didn't give enough juice to jump it, even though it was rated for > 5.7L engine). I thought it had something to do...

Any ideas what this is in my 1500 Limited?

Ah, good to know...didn't know where to even begin to look for it in the manual!

Any ideas what this is in my 1500 Limited?

While looking for a mounting spot for my RC 20" LED light bar switch, I came upon this panel on the lower left of the steering wheel, just below the parking brake lever... Any idea what this is, and what the orange nylon pull does? I pulled it but didn't notice anything different... also...

    Light bar Power Wire

I've just got around to installing this RC 20" light bar, and I've got the bar itself installed, --did you ever figure out the wiring so that the light bar isn't always power-on? --my version of the RC kit came w/ a 3-way SPDT rocker switch... I've just got around to installing this light...

    2019 RAM 1500 hellwig swaybar

I'm pretty sure all the Ram 1500s come w/ front and rear sway bars. If you go to Hellwig's site and do a parts look up, they have 2 models, 1 for regular stock ride height, and the other for 2-4" lift height (presumably for aftermarket lifts?).

Updates to vehicle settings I’d like to see

Many good thoughts/suggestions here... --I'd like to be able to keep the Controls screen (seat heater/vent, side steps deployed, etc...) always ON/be able to have it on lower part of the Uconnect split screen... --they need to improve the rear camera image when it rains/gets wet (put it in a...

Rough Country hidden bunmper 20" LED light bar

There's a thread on a member's install of this unit, including a picture of where he mounted the switch... I have this same RC light and will be installing it soon, but still need to figure out good light switch locations... here's the thread...

AFE Headers, Y-Pipe and cat-back exhaust

I like the AFE black tips, but it's a shame it's made in 409 stainless... And why is it $980!? Flowmaster and Carven are $200 to $300 less!
