For me, start button kill switch, 2nd horn installed with wiring deeper in the engine bay, and the Faraday box inside my house. Like most others have said - if they want it bad enough, all they gotta do is drag it onto a flat bed. Aside from that, I feel pretty good about what I did and don't...
Installed my Mishimoto catch can today - piece of cake. Hardest part was putting the plastic engine cover back on (lol). Very happy with the design - especially the bracket.
Not sure if it matters, but any thoughts on the 2 options I've seen for the filtration media in the various catch cans? Some use a bronze filter while others use stainless steel. I'm definitely considering add a catch can to my truck, but it's hard to justify a $200+ mishimoto versus some of...
Not exactly. I had a 14/2 extension cord that had 1 end damaged, so I cut the damaged end off and kept it. Since I had it in my garage, I used it to keep things neat and to give some added protection.
Here you go:
wire 1.jpg shows the wiring I added (green casing) coming from the stock horns over the top core support rail
wire 2.jpg shows where it's tucked in under where the top cover goes - cannot be seen thru the grill.
horn comp mount.jpg shows where the small compressor was mounted for...
Update
I re-routed the horn wires from the backside of the top core support rail to make them inaccessible from the front grill. They are now higher, under the cover that is in the front under the hood. Cannot be seen if looking through the grill. I also did separate the wires from the 2...
I concur with Knightro84 - fumoto valve and the PacBRake kit - makes changing my oil quicker, easier, and cleaner. No offense SDRebel - I never got the hang of the 2 bag method. Only got away "clean" once out of 4 times using that method. I'm VERY happy with the relocation kit. Well worth it...
I thought about that - the wires are tied together with the wires that connect to the sensor that identifies when the hood is open. I would have to take them apart and then re-tape them, then relocate the stock horns. I was hoping to avoid that. If no other solutions come up, I may take that...
I've seen the YouTube videos of the a$$-hats cutting the horn wires thru the front grill to disable the horns so they can break into the truck without making any noise. I have a secondary horn that I want to install away from the stock horn, but need some help with the wiring. I figure if I can...

I bought and installed the PacBrake relocation kit on my truck - extremely happy with it. Piece of cake to remove and change the oil filter without the need for being a contortionist to fit under the truck-legs to the rear-sitting almost upright just to remove a filter that despite using the 2...
I concur with the others above - you won't regret it. Have these on all my vehicles. Using the hose, you can drain the oil right into empty bottles rather than a drain pan if you want. The only objection (not really an objection LOL) is the speed in which the oil drains from these - takes a...
Changed my oil & filter yesterday. I had the K&N HP-2011 on there, which is bigger than the stock filter. Looked at the Mobil1 M1-212A in the store - it was no bigger than the original. I ended up with another K&N HP-2011. Next time, I'll order ahead from Amazon and get the Royal Purple as...
I added the kit to my truck on my last oil change, and am due for the first change using the kit in a couple weeks. I had researched this about a year ago and these are the different "larger" filters that I believe will work (disclaimer-check for yourself to make sure):

Last October, I bought this one from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09GRY3NGH?ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_product_details&th=1
$44.98 - covers the whole windshield and came with the mirror covers as well. It's only been 1 winter so far, but I would recommend it.
I'm one of those folks that almost always uses Waze, and I usually enter the address I'm going to even if I've been there a hundred times - I figure it helps with traffic, etc. I use Waze in my truck by utilizing Car2Play and Apple CarPlay while my phone is in the wireless charger. Well...
