Does anyone know if there is an updated 3rd brake light. I noticed a stain in my headliner and had the Dealership look at it. They brought in a specialist who stated it was the 3rd brake light and that Ram has an updated part, but the parts department said their was no new part number.
Look in the Bilstein post, some one posted the 4th gen specs which I don't think would be much different. They are what I used when I did mine and i have had no issues.
If you only want to level your RAM then you can't go wrong with the Bilstein's. I just did my non ORP crew cab at setting 5 and got 2" of lift, leaving a 1/2" of rake and the ride did not suffer at all. I am putting P275/60R20 Goodyear Trail Runners on it Monday. I did not go bigger because...
So installed and set to position 5, the wife was concerned that I was changing the shocks from past experience, I put stiffer shocks on her old Explorer Sport. Took her out to pick up diner tonight and she said it did not change the ride and was happy about that. I am going to put on a set...
So some people have bought the ORP front springs to achieve 1" of lift or to get a max of 3" at setting 5. The ORP spring is, according to a member who measured then, 7/8" longer than stock, thus the spring in is getting compressed 7/8" more than a non ORP in every setting up to their max...
I had it happen to me today, truck lost power, and check engine light started flashing, drove right to the dealer and they said it was a misfire in # 5 cylinder and they would have to do some diagnostics. Got a call several hours later saying the injector in that cylinder is bad and that...
So I was thinking of doing the same thing. My reasoning was that compressing the ORP spring 1" instead of the stock spring 2" would effect the ride quality less due to the fact the more you compress the stock spring the stiffer it gets. Does anyone know if the spring rate for the stock spring...
So my Dealership ordered me a new one and put it on last week. I finally had a chance to climb under the truck to inspect it yesterday. All the did was replace it with the same exact item nothing different between new and old. I did have to pull it back off and reinstall it though, the tech...
So walked out today and immediately notice that it was once again hanging down. Snapped it back up, I guess it is time to have Ram fix it under warranty.
Glad to hear it did so well, I am towing a 68 El Camino to Dallas from MD for a show this October. I installed a Timbren SES kit so hopefully that will help with the squat.
I just installed mine this morning and could not be happier. The sound is just what I was looking for, a nice throaty rumble at start up and while idling, then as you accelerate it gives you that nice V-8 sound, get to cruising highway speed and you don't even notice it. When ECO mode kicked in...
So i have the WeatherTech for all 5 windows and love it. The truck sits for days and having all the windows covered defeninetly keeps the heat inside the vehicle way down here is what I got

I can't say how the Sumo springs are I put a set of Timbren SES instead based on users here giving them positive reviews. They were super easy to install.
