So walked out today and immediately notice that it was once again hanging down. Snapped it back up, I guess it is time to have Ram fix it under warranty.

Hi Chrisdp23,
If you would like any additional assistance while working with your dealer to address this, please send our team a private message and we would be happy to get you connected with a case specialist.

Same thing happened to me last week, driving through some puddles, when I got to parking lot I noticed it was hanging down. Dealer is ordering me a new one. add it to the list of problems with these 2019 RAMs.

Happened to me at the beginning of a long road trip. By the time I stopped and noticed, the road wore away about 1.5 inches of it. I have it reported to the dealer and service appointment for a list of things I need addressed in three weeks.

When I get mine back from procharger I’ll be taking it by the dealer for them to fix mine right as I am sure mine got wore down quite a bit as mine also happened when I drove through some heavy rain on a road trip so it may have been dragging for an hour or two.

Key phrase "list of things" - Is it too much to ask to have a trouble free brand new truck?

The dealer ordered a new one for me and replaced it. They also zip-tied it on in a couple of place as they said it is a known problem and they have been popping off. noticed my front fenders are starting to pull away from truck body at the front corners. I feel a caulk fix to this problem

So my Dealership ordered me a new one and put it on last week. I finally had a chance to climb under the truck to inspect it yesterday. All the did was replace it with the same exact item nothing different between new and old. I did have to pull it back off and reinstall it though, the tech who did the install failed to place it around the fuel line so it was pushing the line up.

Had the same problem twice now on my 2019 Limited, the second time today after puddle splash. First time, I took it to the dealer and had to pay for replacement. Will push harder this time now I see it’s a common problem

I literally just fixed this with zip ties last weekend... I was doing the dreaded oil change and noticed this was bent back and was wondering what the heck could have hit it to do that. Must be a nasty draft there to bend it back as I'll assume that is the issue now.

I had something break loose on Saturday, Dec 11, 2021 when I hit a big puddle on the highway. When it happened, it sounded like something slapped the underside of the truck. Made a loud noise. There is a 2-3 foot section of protective plastic hanging loose. I think it's the fuel rail cover. Maybe I can fix it with a few well placed zip ties? Think I'll have the dealer lift it up and inspect the undercarriage. (2019 Ram 1500 4x4 Big Horn Crew Cab)

I attached a few pictures.
